Remarks

College study wise is great, management is good, overall ok.

Entrance Preview

I took MAT exam, scored 93 and opted this because of the name Jain University linked to it. The interview was simple and quick enough, my score was good so I got through. I never wanted to be in HR, but Marketing, since there was dual option, I chose marketing and finance.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

This is something I really would say the best. The course curriculam was just fantastic, the time, the modules, just awesome. Well coming to research, you also get good opportunity to explore. Overall should say good. Marketing topics can be new or modified a bit though, finance was perfectly fine.

Internships Opportunities

Yes, it provides, but sad that companies donot give any stipend and overall I hardly visited the company except the first and last day. Well why should we, when they donot pay us anything, or value us at all.

Placement Experience

2.5

Tricky question frankly during our times, it wasn't great at all. HDFC, HUL had come offering less package. Now It's better I heard. But package is not more than 3.5 lakhs to 4 lakhs per annum maximum. Only HDFC offered close to 5 lakhs per annum. Overall really bad. I tried it outside and got job, but placement is just not good.

College Events

0.5

Various events were organised like freshers party and then technical events among various colleges. there were no cultural or management festivals then, The rules and regulations were stricter. Mostly inter college participation was there we won almost all the time.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure is feasible, affordable. we paid 5.3 lakhs, but now it should be little more. we had to pay in installments. First we made a draft of 1 lakh and later in 3 installments we made the payment. Loan process was easier and we got the study loan. The foreign trip was also covered in the fee, we went to Shanghai and it was all worth.

Fees and Financial Aid

I donot have any idea about that, but ya you can always avail student loan from SBI. The college admin can help you for some information may be. You can always check with them.

Campus Life

3

Campus life was really memorable, the campus as such isn't big but ok types. The ratio was 1:1 and with all categories of people. The tolerance with regards to gender, ethnicity, race, religion or sexual orientation is good. Politics goes on everywhere. That is something you can always handle tactfully.

Hostel Facilities

4

I was put up at paying guest because it worked out to be cheaper. But hostel was expensive during that time, but have been to my friends room, rooms were neat and clean, food was good, both north and south Indian was there. The hostel was secured. Boys and girls hostel are separate.

Alumni/Alumna

Alumni network is not helpful at all. Senior students were helpful, they helped us with notes and stuff. We got lot of notes from the xerox shop nearby. We never had any interaction with the alumni network.

Exam Structure

Exams were hectic, we used to as usual study over night, but trust me, it has to be well ahead, especially finance. Marketing and human resources are pretty easy, and can be made up. Those exams we could chill out but finance we had to group study or take help of some genius student.

Admission

As mentioned, normal interview procedure, then we had Group Discussion and then we got through. All went well, and really looked nice and great. I got through immediately, results were out the same day and then opted to stay close by in a paying guest. The payment had to be then and there, so we had kept a Demand draft of said amount ready.

Faculty

4

Well the best in my life time, except a few. I donot know whether they still wolr there or not. Our Dean in the first year was really strict, in a way that helped us to have a disciplined life. I believe all should have Dr. UC(we used to call) in every phase of your life. He taught us to be strong and go getter kind of attitude. He left in the 2nd year and we had someone else as our Dean. Our faculty especially finance was great, economics and statistics was by Prof Panigrahi but he has left the college now. Got lot of support, except few . Happy they are no more working there.

Placement Experience:

Placements in the college are good for marketing specialization. Compared to other specializations, from semester 2 itself, students become eligible for campus placements. Companies like Deloitte, KPMG, ICICI Bank, and HDFC Bank visit the campus. The highest package this year was 40 LPA, and the average package is around 6.5 LPA. The percentage of students getting placed is 70% for now. After getting the degree, selection in a good company is my plan.

The average package offered is moderate and there are limited opportunities for high paying roles compared to top tier colleges. Companies that visit the campus are mostly small to mid sized organizations. The placement cell is very supportive and conduct training sessions such as aptitude tests, mock interviews and soft skills development to prepare students for placements.

Placement Experience:

Placement in my college is decent, wiyh around 90% of students are getting placed. Students usually become eligible for placement in their final year and the college provides internships opportunities before that, which helps in gaining experience. Many companies visit to campus mainly from marketing and sales, along with some roles in HR and operations. The number of offer is good but option for finance and analytic are comparatively limited.

I choose this course because to get good knowledge like finance and accounts marketing and sales in two years of my masters . The circulum was well prepared me in completing two years of my graduation by studing in my academic subject. There should be some changes need to be made by improving the course circulum and teaching methods like time table of exams class room time table College timings etc Yes the timimg of exams were not so easy it was very hard for me to go to college it was so far to go from home but the college has no buses facility and i have already try to reach so early.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would like to rate the course 7 out of 10. Because as these is a distance learning many difficulties occur. I am doing a MBA in ksou after my graduation in b. Com. As ksou comes under UGT it is more helpful for the job seeker. As per my knowledge the faculty should conduct a more classes may be through online so that the working people can attend the classes from wherever they want. There are many distance learning courses in ksou academic platform but they are not handling in a accuracy. They take a lot of time to announce a results, even to conduct a exams they take a lot of time. The question paper are sometimes difficult and the question will be from out of syllabus which will be difficult to attend. Distance learning course is difficult to manage
