Saint Xaviers College is the best commerce college in Kolkata so there was no point leaving a seat in Kolkata Xaviers College, Kolkata if you have scored 90%. Moreover the brand value that gets added to the CV is second factor and not to forget the placements that happen here where they give decent packages to BCom people especially.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course is quite comprehensive and some of the faculty is very good while some of the faculty is average. They know the concepts very nicely and they are able to explain us through the way of presentations and other medium. Our college follows the system of CBCS Choice Based Credit System so marks is given according to the credits.
Internships Opportunities
I have done an internship in Younity.in in marketing domain. Younity.in is a student community which is operated by its founder Prafull Garg and he give session everyday on different topics.
Placement Experience
The placements are excellent various big companies and MNCs like Amazon, Flipkart, D E Shaw, Zomato, Deloitte, KPMG, PWC, JP Morgan and Chase visit the campus and recruit. The startup by Divyanshu damani.(Tagmango) who has passed 3 years ago is all I can quote.
College Events
The campus life is also good. You get to become a part of various societies as well as to get the positions and different fests organised by Saint Xaviers which includes Goonj and Xavotsav. They give very particular attention to details and everything starts on time so I can say that the college is very punctual in starting all the events and everything goes in place.
Campus Life
The infrastructure of sxc is quite good be it the canteen or the library which is the largest in the city. It is really good it has Wi-Fi facilities in the library the sports facility is very good and we have a dedicated sports room for every activity related to sports every year the college host various sports events like there is the celebration of Independence Day, then we have the Xaviers Premier League.
