Remarks

Scottish Church College is quite a popular college in Kolkata specially for its alumni. The teachers are very helpful. It's one of the old educational institution in Kolkata. It's also a Christian minority institution.

Course Curriculum Overview

3 out of 4 of our professors were very helpful. There was always some problem with the 4th one. SC Sir had a very problematic personality. UD Sir is a very good teacher was but a guest lecturer. With PR Sir we the students failed to connect properly

The is a placement cell in our college. Every year the 3rd students receives a notice from there to enroll themselves for placement.

College Events

Campus life was pretty good. Every year each departments arrange freshers & farewell. Departments also organization many seminars. It also organize student paper presentation seminars. In these seminars the department provide us with food package. Apart from these the are cultural programs organized by the college

Campus Life

My college is a heritage building. The library is good, there are sports facilities also. The washrooms need to be cleaned regularly. Both boy's & girl's common rooms need improvement. I can't say much about the Labs as I have never used it

The field tricks are done sometimes to make us understand the reality and the course is really good. I love that and the field trip helps us a lot to explain and to learn things that happening around us and foods are provided from the school or sometimes on trips, I'm really happy with my college.

A place to enhance skills

Course Curriculum Overview:

I have chosen this course because it has lots of scope in future to get a job and also it is a good subject or my National language. In this college lots of faculty has been given to the students. Well, I am also a new student but I can say that all teaching and non teaching staff and also the office staff are very humble to the students and they help us a lot. I am in B.A. 1st year student and lots of faculty has been given by our beloved teachers and office staff. The teachers are very humble by nature and the way they taught us is really mind blowing I am very grateful that I am a student of those teachers. In every 6 months, you have to give one semester examination and as I already told you that I am a new student and my exam is in February month so I do not have experience with the paper and how difficult it to pass but I can say you read properly you can pass the exam in Good marks.

I also applied to the main university but didn't get a chance there. That is why I had to take admission in this blasted institution. I received the rejected from the University due to my lack of percentage in the paper called marksheet. That is what went wrong. The admission process is completely done through the internet. To apply one must have a minimum of 60 % marks in their previous courses. That allows you to fill up the application form. It was good to be a part of that college

You have to pass the 12 th boards with above 90% marks then only you'll get the college. They always have the application form and all the informations in there official college website. There was reservation policies as I was sc so it was a little bit low cut off for my reservation. The exam pattern and difficulty level was a little bit hard.
