Entrance Preview

The Admission is done on the basis of JEE Mains, the admission to college is taken by the score of JEE mains. On the basis of AIR i.e. all india rank. Streams are alloted with the merits scored in JEE conducted by cbse. The rank scored by me in 2013 is 78000/-.I got admission in DTU but not got the desired branch in the college so i choose this college, after seing its placements.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is very effective and good for future. They teach about the practicals to be done in the industry, and work to be done in industry. The college also provides students to visit different industries to see how engineers work, and to show too how the work is done there.

Internships Opportunities

Internship program is organised by IBM, The college has achieved the center of excellence certificate from the company. The internship is provided in TATA and Honda for mechanical. Students also get paid internship at comapnies like sonalika tractors and Eicher.

Placement Experience

Placements are far very good in comparision to pvt colleges. The college provides comapny from their full effort. After sucessfull clearing of amptitute paper organised by comapny, the student is selected for interview and according to student ability the package is given. Infogain, Tech-mahindra, TATA Motors, Eicher, Sonalika Tractors comes for placement drive.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fees structure for college is 73000/- INR per Year. Extra fees for examination 3600/- INR Anually.

Fees and Financial Aid

Loans are easily availed by different bank like state bank of india. College fills and verify the details and student can get education loan easily.

Campus Life

Campus life is very interesting in terms of sports, labs, sports. Gender ratio of our campus is in proportion of 3:1. There are different types of clubs in our campus life like NSS Swastic, Natyasala etc. There are different type of debets conducts by college.

Exam Structure

The exams are conducted after each semester in one semester there are two internal examination are conducted best of one is selected for final evaluation.

Placements of this college is better than many tier 2 NITs . Students are eligible for placement in 8th semester. If we talk about the top companies visiting PEC, these are Apple, Google, Microsoft, American Express, McKinsey, JP Morgan etc.

Placement Experience:

from 5 semester you become eligible for internship and pre placements i think 56 percent of the students get placed i haven't thought much about what i need to do after the degree but definitely i would be considering gaining some experience in this degree to enhance my skills

PEC is great choice

Placement Experience:

placements from rti report placement percentage is over 75 + and in ee its 74 percent cse 93 and ece 84 percent avg for cse is 18 lakhs and ece is 16 lakhs ee its 14 lakh and other branches have 8 10 lakh avg but the placemnt percentage in mechncial is 70 percent other branches like civil production have a little less percentage of placements but they have opportunities in college

Placement Experience:

For placement students can apply in their last year respectively Top recruiters at UICTE include Reliance, GAIL, Honeywell, ExxonMobil, and Technip, offering many roles, but exact offer numbers aren't publicly available. Highest package for chemical engineering this year is 12 LPA and average is around 5 to 7LPA I want to do something of my own after this degree

after 7th semester students are eligible for process of placemet many company recenty visited like tcs and infosys .average pacakage is around 700000 and highest pacakage is around 5200000 . 70% students got placed My plan is to join a good company after degree

There are on compus placement and few companies visit. But very few students are only selected and offered a package of around 5-6 lpa. Oracle, fy, hdfc etc In percentage placement is around 10%. I plan to apply for off campus placements and don't have any plans for mtech or any other cource.

I want to go abroad for higher studies and after that work for a multinational company. I will be able to learn so much about what has been taught to us, the highest package that was given was 42 lakh per annum and the minimum is 10 lakh per annum and CSE gets the highest number of the package.

BEST you can get in low JEE ranks. GREAT ROI.

One can get admission in UIET, CHD by applying for JAC CHANDIGARH counselling. One has to give JEE mains exam and based on its score, JAC Chandigarh conducts counselling through which admissions process occurs. I applied for YMCA Faridabad and DCRUST Murthal as well. I also applied for JOSAA counselling but due to my low rank in JEE mains, I couldn't get any NIT or IIIT. I was getting YMCA or DCRUST but choose UIET over them, because of its location. It is situated in main Chandigarh and very near to my home. Moreover, it's placements are better than both of them....Read More
