Remarks

In BA English, most of the students went for higher studies in various universities all over the world. Some of the students opted for journalism, advertising, MBA and even MA English for higher education. Students opted for summer internships, and by the end, there were few students who went for placements. Classrooms and libraries were in excellent condition with centralised air-conditioned. Food quality was average in the mess, but students had ample options with different food chains within the campus. Hostels were cleaned regularly and has options of both air-conditioners and non-air-conditioners rooms. Medical facilities were readily available and in excellent condition. Students were made to actively engage in sports. They had several options including badminton, cricket and volleyball as sports. They were even rewarded for their performance. Teachers are qualified and helpful. Amity is one of the strict colleges when it comes to attendance.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

Faculty members are all up-to-the-mark and way too knowledgeable and are supportive at all times. They always make sure a student gets all of what Is taught and is able to implement the same in real life. I was very much impressed with the faculty. And the course curriculum is as per what is required in today's date.

Internships Opportunities

3.5

Students are always guided by the faculty members in securing good internships. Mostly internships offered are for story and content writers with stipends ranging from Rs. 1,000 to Rs. 5,000 per month.

Fees and Financial Aid

66k/year. The scholarship is based on merit. Scholarship options are also there for sports students, and students with good percentages, but you yourself have to apply for it. There is also a fun zone "Arcadia" where there are different games like bowling, air hockey, pool, video games, etc.

Campus Life

4

Everyone likes the infrastructure of Amity University. The campus is well-built with the accessories of gaming area, fitness, swimming pools, sports fields and seminar halls. The internet can be accessed on campus, and 24-hours medical facility is also provided. Hostels are good and clean. The quality of the food is also good.

Interview Experience

4

Yes, I had faced a written test for the admission. A short interview with the faculty was also part of admission. Just apply online and upload the required documents. Admission department will automatically contact you.

Mahatma Gandhi Kashi Vidyapith - [MGKVP], Bachelor of Arts [BA] (Education)
Reviewed on Feb 17, 2026(Enrolled 2023)

Course Curriculum Overview:

The BA curriculum in my college at Mahatma Gandhi Kashi Vidyapith (MGKVP) for the 2025–2026 academic year is structured under the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, making it academically comprehensive but traditionally theoretical. It follows a six-semester system that offers a wide range of subjects, from core Humanities (History, Political Science, Hindi) to modern electives and Vocational courses (e.g., Nutrition, Yoga, or Digital Literacy), providing students with a multidisciplinary framework. In terms of relevance, the syllabus is exceptionally well-suited for students aiming for government services and competitive exams (UPSC/UPPSC), as the depth of social science subjects mirrors the state and national civil service patterns. However, its professional comprehensiveness is lower; while the curriculum includes internal assessments, presentations, and project work to build soft skills, the actual delivery remains focused on rote learning and theory rather than industry-ready practical training. Consequently, the course is highly relevant for an academic or administrative career path but requires significant self-supplementation (internships or external skill-building) for those seeking immediate roles in the private sector.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum at Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) is well structured, relevant, and comprehensive. One of the main reasons I chose this course was its balanced syllabus, which includes both theoretical concepts and practical applications. The curriculum is designed in a way that builds a strong foundation in core subjects while also introducing advanced topics gradually. This helps students understand subjects deeply rather than just studying for exams.

Course Curriculum Overview:

My Biggest reason to choose this subject to I like art related work,so I choose this subject. One advantage of doing this subject is that along with art,you can learn a lot from other social and cultural aspect as well. There is a need to make some improvements in this subject such a a course should be of shorter duration and the syllabus should be made a little shorter. Whatever the exam, the subject should be made a short subject with less duration and should not be of long duration.
