The admission process for bachelors in dental was based on the NEET exam which is an all India entrance exam for any medical course from the government college. 50% marks from the 12th result and 50% marks of the NEET result decides the admission chance out of 40 students taken annually. The rank on your NEET exam decides whether you will be considered in the first list of the admission or the third. After the declaration of results, we need to fill up the application form from the All India Pre-Dental Entrance Examination Unit. The course is 5 years long and completely government-oriented making the fees minimal. You can apply through the management quota too but they are high priced.
Course Curriculum Overview
The MAIDS is a government college, ranked number 1 all over India and has the facilities of all the possible medical supplies, full lab and practical exposure. The teachers are well-known doctors and provide the hardest tasks performed very smoothly. The subjects in the first year are related to basic medical knowledge of 12th, second-year has details of the human anatomy and from the third year, we have been studying teeth structure and related knowledge. The fourth-year is mainly practical and 5th year is our internship year where we would be able to assist senior doctors and help the patients. Exams are taken at the end of each year and regular class test internals is given too.
Placement Experience
Our campus has all the kinds of sports which we play in our free time and also organize events with faculty or seniors. The grounds are well maintained and clean, college fund sponsors these sports. The medical labs are properly maintained and sanitised, given they have the proper equipment, all the latest technologies and most important, every vaccine is available. We have small gardens which are filled with flowers and give away stress in winters under the sun. The college is surrounded by many other government colleges like Maulana medical college, Lok Nayak etc.
Fees and Financial Aid
The facilities provided by the college with such a practical exposure, the government takes all the sponsoring for the students and the fees for the general category is INR 25,000 per annum. SC and ST, INR 10,000-5,000. The latest lab technologies with instruments are provided and sponsored by the government. In comparison to the private colleges who take lakhs per semester.
