Remarks
I would like to say something before going into my review that it is not the college that should only be held responsible. I am a student from the 2014 batch and I joined in 2010. I will elaborate on both grounds. About the college- fees are not worth the experience. Join some other if possible. It is true that our college demands money for everything, but it a common practice in Andhra Pradesh. If you compare it to any other state, the amount of bribery/Under the table stuff that occurs is higher in Andhra.
Course Curriculum Overview
Proper library, good environment (as the location is in front of Rushikonda Beach For Vizag). FEST FEST FEST (nice opportunity to show your hidden talent). Faculty are good( I know for Civil, Mech, EEE done about other branches). Departmental labs are good. Coming to the main purpose of joining any college i.e. placement.
Placement Experience
“One Job for One Head”. Yes the rule is simple. GITAM wants to place as much as they can. So, the rule is pretty clear that, students who get placements can move aside and offer their way to next ones.
Campus Life
The infrastructure is very good and GITAM is mainly known for infra & Clean environment. Washrooms are very clean like you see in hotels. GITAM keep on constructs something to do not pay taxes.
Interview Experience
It is quite easy to clear and get into the campus with whatever rank you get, I got my 4 marks in the entrance test and completed B.tech :D. The test is a little typical and if you attempt it, you just get it. They just want you to write the test sake of conducting.
