Review for academics journey

I have chosen this college out of filled choices in the counselling procedure. It's because the quality of teaching along with placements and extra training is great as considered normal Private colleges. It's much better than any other Private engineering colleges in Greater Noida. Although the infrastructure is better. Can take admission through UPSEE, JEE and direct admission starting from MAY to end of AUGUST. Fees are similar to other colleges but academics is much better and better future guidance is provided. Located in a better location. I have preferred because its near to my hometown LUCKNOW. I have read about the college on collegedunia available on google. These two websites have helped me a lot in taking right decisions.I was preferring collegedunia from past 3 years from knowing about 3 different colleges.

As computer science is the most demanding branch of the future with maximum opportunities and NIET is giving this opportunity with the best support. There are enough faculties for each branch and even for different pieces of training and labs. Proper faculties are available for other side courses. The ratio fo faculty:student is great. Teachers are highly qualified with many years of experience and teaching method fine. It's not too great but probably much better than other nearby colleges. The internal exams are conducted twice in one semester. They are of the medium level so that with proper preparation any student can pass them.

From 6th semester students become eligible for placements. Companies like HCL, WIPRO, TCS, CAPGEMINI, ACCENTURE, AMAZON, INFOSYS have offered more than 1700 placement combined. There are also some more companies.

The yearly fees are around 1lakh 20 thousand. There is no fee hike policy but due to covid-19, there is a slight increase in the fees. For 4 years of graduation, the academics fees are nearly around 4.5 lakhs. The scholarship is given to special quota students. There is no scholarship based on performance in academics. There is no financial assistance available. Job opportunities are bettter than other same level private engineering colleges. Different companies arrives to offer maximum placements to students of every branch.

For the 1st year, fresher's is conducted each year. Tech fest is organized in the month of September. Along with its different activities like Marathon, face painting are also organised. The library is quite good. Different books and journals are available and it's also quite spacious. It contains books of courses syllabus as well as different guides. Every type of book is available here. Classrooms contain projector. There are different clubs for sports, extracurricular activities and social activities as well. Sports competition with other colleges is also held. Certain clubs are not properly managed and there is no complete information about the working of the clubs.

Single, double and three-seater rooms are available. Mine was a single room with common washroom. The room contains a single bed seiling fan, tube light, a bookshelf and 1 cupboard. The meal is not good but there is a different menu for each day which gives some relaxation. The hostel registration process is done at the time of admission by the chief warden of the college's hostel. The hostel rate is little high as compared to the facilities offered.
