Terrific educational institution.

College management is very disciplined and ensures regularity of day's sessions and attendance discipline. they are proactive in provision of infrastructure and facilities. College is in very good hands and competent management looks after it in current period.

I took up an all India entrance examination organized by IP university Delhi, tn which more that 100000 students gave the entrance. I came in very high and was given this institute as a choice,according to my merit standing in the entrance examination.

I had the following electives in first semester- C programming, Mathematics, Fundamentals in Technology,Physics, Business Management. In the second semester I am having the following electives: Data Structure,Mathematics, Computer Architecture, Principles of Management. In the third semester I have Mathematics, Accounting, C++ Programming,vb.net & computer architecture.

During long vacations in summers the college encourages students to venture out for internships in any organization that catches their interest and fancy. Institute provides all possible recommendation support to students and placements are smooth and short term. Many students have gained substantially out of such internships.

Many top level organizations like Wipro,HCL, Infosys, TCS etc come to source potentials at our campus from out of the final pass-outs. These organizations hire quite a few and they are now well settled in such organizations. The starting package till last year was nearly Rs.12.00 lakh per annum in deserving cases.

Many fetes, Melas, annual day celebrations and festivals are organized in the campus. Also included are many sporting events. Students also take up Institute organized excursion trips to locations like Nainital , Jim Corbett park etc. Many cultural leanings are there in each of such events.

There is an option to pay fees in installments or in one lump-sum. Annual expenditure, on all inclusive basis comes to well under Rs. 1.00 lakh per annum for day scholars. For boarders boarding and lodging expenditures are separate and for day boarders commuting expenditures are quite separate. It can be safely concluded that any student or parent may not have to cross the mark of Rs.1.50 lakh per annum in this course.

Most of the students joining this course hail from middle class or upper middle class families. Some also come from wealthy families. However, most students do not need scholarships,aids or grants due to decent family incomes and moderate annual overall expenditures involved in this course.

Gender ratio in our stream is highly biased in favor of males female students form barely 10-20 percent of the total class strength. Females opt more for courses in management and arts. We are regularly exposed to events like debates,competitions, practical projects involving labs. These are usually organized by computing based organizations.

I am a day student so I do not have a direct experience of the hostel or mess facilities. But I have seen the hostel rooms of my friends as the hostel is conveniently located within the campus. The rooms are spartan but neat and have all facilities that make for student living food is also good and rather wholesome there are few small complaints, if any.

There is a wide alumni network and they remain in touch with the Institute and its current students through visits and placement contributions. College seniors are helpful and encouraging all the time. they readily share resources and interact with juniors freely. Some alumni members were really impressive when we interacted with them during certain events.

There is a well equipped lab for computers in the campus and many internal and external lab based examinations are held in such labs. labs are also used widely for practicing learning from classroom. Semester wise internal and external examinations are held. Internals are practice examinations followed by external examinations and lab based practicals which count towards final scores and standings.

I had to appear in an entrance examination followed by a small interview cum documents' verification exercise, after which I got the admission. There were a couple of rounds in the verification process and I duly completed all of them. The process was rather smooth and well organized and Institute had set up many centers in Delhi for the purpose.

Most faculty members are highly educated and articulate and they take deep interest in their curriculum and take sessions rather regularly. Classes are held on time and extra support s readily forthcoming. Most faculty have professional degrees like BCA, MCA, Btech CA ,Mcom etc. Some have research based degrees as well.
