Remarks
As it is esteemed college from olden days and the performance of students in this college is better compared to students in other colleges. But there are some cons like low-quality food and teachers lack enough knowledge on their subjects etc.
Course Curriculum Overview
The faculty are friendly and helpful in the labs and in gaining knowledge. But their quality of teaching is not up to the mark. They lack their own subject knowledge and they are also not expertized in doing lab experiments etc.
Placement Experience
The third and final yr students are eligible for campus placements. Some companies like TCS, Cognizant, DeltaX e.t.c have visited our college and recruited about 40% of the students. Highest package is given for selected students in Cognizant i.e., 4,00,000 per annum and the average package is given by TCS i.e., 3,20,000 per annum. I have completed my degree recently in 2020 and I am trying for govt jobs.
Fees and Financial Aid
If the student is not eligible for fee reimbursement then he/she has to pay 10,000 college fee every year and he/she needs to pay the entire hostel fee. But if he/she are eligible then he/she need not pay college fee and hostel fee will get deducted from the funds alloted by the government.
Campus Life
We have freshers day in the first year and farewell day in the final yr. tech fests every year one for each department held at different time periods. We also have a sports day, NSS and NCC day which would be celebrated in the campus. Coming to the library we have a lot of books related to our subjects in each semester available at the central library. We also have Bc/Sc/St library where books will be lent to only Bc/Sc/St students. We can borrow them and can renew or return if required. We have extracurricular activities such as games competition during our fests and farewell. We have clubs for making plans to provide awareness about english proficiency in future etc.
Hostel Facilities
Hostels are large in area and they are safe and secure. But they have some problems like a lot of mosquitoes and improper sanitization and the quality of food is bad. As the hostel bill gets deducted for the student who has reimbursement there will be no problem with the hostel fee.
