Remarks
After preparing from Pratham for ipu Cet exam for BBA admissions, I got the rank in 4100s and got TIPS, Dwarka in the 3rd round of online counselling, I chose this college as it ranks 7th in the university in BBA course. At the first round of counselling, you need to pay around rs. 40000 (part of total fees of 90000) for university fees and after the 3rd round of counselling when I chose this college I had to pay rs. 50000 (the remaining balance in the total fees). Also, I had to pay an additional rs. 5000 the one-time security deposit to be paid with, 1st year's fees which are to be returned by the college after final year.
Course Curriculum Overview
I chose BBA because I want to do MBA afterwards. The college faculty consists of mostly young teachers, like all colleges some of them were good at their job but most of them were just killing time. The good thing is that the curriculum is not that difficult and you can get around 7-8 sgpa each semester without the help of teachers, by self-studying 5-6 days before the exams. Every semester the college asks all the students to rate the teachers and provide reviews to them anonymously, but this seems to be a mere formality as the college won't take any actions based on these reviews.
Internships Opportunities
They only provide off-campus sales internships mostly or customer care executives. I did one internship program at idbi federal life insurance co. through college and I was told it was a finance and sales internship, but when I started the internship it did not have anything to do with finance, they only wanted us to sell their policies to our families, relatives and neighbours.
Placement Experience
In the name of campus placements, the college only provides sales "internships" and customer care executive "jobs". Companies like IBM and Amazon do come to the college as mentioned on the college website, but they only come for the customer care executive jobs. And some only hire at contractual basis (for example Amazon).
Fees and Financial Aid
You are required to pay rs. 90000(approx) per year as fees for the course (this data is valid for 2017-2020 batch). The college holds an annual trip for which they charge around 10000rs which is optional if you want to go. Scholarships are available for sc/st/obc students, underprivileged low-income students and students who're the topper. This scholarship is provided by Delhi govt. There are no on-campus jobs available.
Campus Life
There is no campus of the college, it's just one tall building and nothing else, even the canteen is in the basement (which is also a multipurpose hall). The location of the college is as such that you would not find anything fun nearby, but the good thing is that the metro is nearby so you can easily commute to other places. There is no ground but there is a nearby park where the college sports teams (cricket and football) practice. The college holds no fests as there is on campus. But the university holds an annual fest at the main campus in sector 14 where singers like come and perform.
