CET(KEA), 7256 that's not my score its my ranking. Few of my seniors from school and college where studying there and they suggested me to take admission there.
Internships Opportunities
No, This college wont provide any internship. At my time we hardly get campus interview, they sent us pool interview conducted by the near by colleges like GMIT, UBDT Davanger and BVB Hubli and so on.
Placement Experience
My senior batch got good placements, they were hired by reputed companies like Infosys, HCL, IBM, MindTree etc and they got good packages also like 2.5LA, 3LA and so on. But i don't know what happened to our batch we didn't got single campus interview from any of the companies i mentioned earlier
College Events
Every year, annual day will be celebrated grandly by the college. And the Notional level technical festivals are also conducted and participation was on average. The list of technical festivals conducted my department are National level technical paper presentation-2012.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fees structure was okay for the government quota students, 38000 govt fees + 11000 college fees. But the management quota was very high.. for Mechanical and Civil Engineering the fees was 4lakh, 5laks including the donation. And the hostel fees was 11000 and its not worthy.
Fees and Financial Aid
No, Not any of scholarship or loan facilities were available in the college, even the scholarship which the governments has sanctioned for the students they didn't inform the students about the scholarship allotted they will display the list lately.
Campus Life
Overall campus life was good we enjoyed a lot. the gender ratio good means about nearly 50:50 you can say, extracurricular activities are conducted in the annual day function, and annual sports different sports computations like running, relay, short-put, inter-branch cricket, inter-branch valley-ball and football matches.
Hostel Facilities
Overall 3 stars form building and facilities 2 stars and food 3 stars out of 5, TV hall was awesome, its a big hall and we use to watch cricket and football and cheers for our favorite teams, IPL, World cup, and any BPL and other international tournaments.
Exam Structure
The exam structure was chilled out, not so hectic, internal assessments where conducted by college regularly and we wont worried about all those internal assessments at all, the final exams were conducted very strictly. Our Principal holds the record of catching highest number of malpractice in the university.
Admission
The counselling was carried by KEA, according to ranking my appointment was scheduled on third day afternoon session. I went there selected STJIT as suggested by cousin and my seniors and they allotted a seat for me, and then i came to STJIT, went to admission section carried out with the remaining formalities like submitting copies marks cards, photos, filling admission form etc.
