I chose this course because being a geologist was my aim since I was 9 years old. And I found it best in the nearest distance that they teach well here. For geology, they have a faculty-student ratio of 1:12. The faculty are very well qualified and have the best experience of teaching students. They give the best basic knowledge required for students in this subject. Term exams are always conducted on time. The exams won't be any big difficulty if one studies well enough and if they study well then there is no big deal to pass. One can even pass with flying colors.

Basically students from BSc computer science, ITM, and IST and students from MBA, Msc mathematics, and statistics get good placements in good companies. Rest this is a nontechnical degree college so campus placements aren't regular enough. I am just here for a bachelor's degree. Not expecting any placements.

Because it's a fully government-operated university so fees for students of any category are very less and affordable for students of any category ranging from 3000- 6000. Students are selected on the basis of merit first and then after all seats get filled there are few seats left which need self-financing which is a bit expensive ranging from 30000-50000. So one needs to try thier best to get into the merit list. There are no self-financing seats for geology. Scholarships are provided sometimes for meritorious students and Ph.D. students get assistance directly from the government and university authorities.

There is no combined annual fest conducted by the university alone. However various festivals are conducted on special occasions and festivals and a number of intra hostel functions and inter hostel sports occasions. The central library contains almost 2.5 lakh books of any requirement. There are separate study rooms also in every hostel. Classrooms are also good and equipped with air conditioners. There are a number of clubs and social groups which also contain involvement of students of other colleges. For example:- dancing, singing, debating, speaking, quiz, sports, photography, cyber, NCC and NSS, and etc. according to student's choice.

Hostels are very well maintained with spacious beds, table and chair for each student, and a personal locker for each student. There is a total of 6 girl's hostels and 7 boy's hostels inside the campus. Meals can be put in the average category. The registration process for hostels and allotment is also online and hostels are completely affordable.
