The most important thing about DSB campus, Nainital is that it is present in the lap of nature and mountains around. Its environment is so refreshing and soothing. The best thing is the regularity of classes and focussed teachers towards course completion.

50:1 teacher and student ratio. Most of the teachers are post-doc and doctorate from well-recognized universities. Midterm and finals are held Semester wise with the regular assignment and practical work. Teachers are very corporative and non-teaching staff also.

Pros as the placement committee are very corporative and active they try to make possible all the ways for the students getting placed. But the cons are that as the college is away from metropolitan cities so very fewer companies came for the student to get placed and get a job as in college most of the courses are traditional students have to work by themselves to get a good job. There are very less students getting placed approx 5%.

Fees are very minimal such that poor students can also study and get the best education for BSc it is 7k/year and hostel facility is also available with very low price is 12k/year for bedding and adding mess chargers monthly accordingly. Rank holder students from their 1st year get a scholarship.

The annual fest is held in the month of February where all students get an equal chance to showcase their talent. All the course-related books are available in library and book bank which can be issued, well-equipped classrooms. NCC is conducted. Committee of extracurricular activities is held.

Rooms are big and spacious. Menu is decided by students themselves and in a hostel, there is a good study and fun environment and lots of things to explore as the hostel is surrounded by mountains from All the sides and mess food is average. There is positive interaction within Junior and senior.
