Kmit Review

I chose Keshav Memorial institute of technology (kmit) for cse program as it has many benefits. Firstly it was founded by Neil gogte sir in 2007, despite being a new college it is been competing with top colleges in India and Telangana state. It is the only college which people find in the centre of hyd city, so it saves travel. It is small in size but very big in other aspects. We have many clubs to participate in and many fests to enjoy. We have many programs conducted by our college to develop ourselves like SONET, FINISHING SCHOOL etc. These programs help to improve our skills and compete in corporate society. Our college even has good opportunities and many good offers in good big companies with many handsome packages. Lastly I can tell only one thing that our college is not less than any IIT.

I choose cse because of my interest, faculty student ratio is 1:12 which I consider being very good, we can get many of the best faculty for cse course with good industry exposure. Most of the faculty members are PhD holder from iits and our own Neil sir is a graduate from IIT Bombay. We have two mid-semester exams in each semester and an end semester exam, each year there are two semester. Its easy to pass if we follow our faculty.

We have many internships offers at Amazon, Microsoft, Virtusa, the role offered are software developers etc. We have many projects and outcomes. Apart from all of this every Sunday we have a coding competition arjuna, so this adds a benefit to our resume.

From fourth-year first semester students are allowed for placement. Many companies like Google, Microsoft, virtusa, Amazon etc visit our college. Highest package is 42 lac per annum. We have a 100 percent conversion of intern into a job. I would like to go to my master after BTech.

As of now the fees per year is one lakh three thousand only, which may increase in near future . Apart from the above fee we must pay a 10,000 rupees as extra in college. No scholarships for OC caste students but for students other than oc coming through ts eamcet will have a scholarship. We can get campus placement with a handsome package and many internship opportunities.

There are three fests and a freshers party, the fest is Patanj Utsav in January, dandiya night, kmit evening in March. We have a good large library with 5000 books and journals, which are available for students at any time. We have sports like football, basketball, badminton, kabbaddi etc. Many clubs are there Iike kdarshan, recurus (coding), kmitra, oc, and many more.

We must write ts eamcet exam which is based on math, physics, chemistry. It's an easy exam for a student appearing for jee and bits. I prepared by my self and from many youtube channels. The exam becomes easy if you can manage the time.
