I took UPTU Entrance Exam. I scored close to 6000[GEN] rank in UPTU. I always wanted to do graduation in computer technologies & this college had great record with their Computer Science Program & Placement, Hence I opted for this college.

This college provides employment opportunities in many Multi National Companies. Along with this there internship opportunities provided in abundance. I am not much sure about stipend part. But you can get to know about this, contacting college reception.

Placement is one of the key attraction of this college. Specially big brands of Multinational Companies visit the college every year to get hundreds of students places. Some of the companies vising MIET are Infosys, TCS, Wipro, L&T, BirlaSoft, HCL. They generally offer intial package of 3.00-3.50 Lakhs per Annum.

College has very vibrant culture. Time to time many events are organised. Most of the festivals are celebrated with fun. Every year college arranges annual function, where they call some of the celebrities. There are lot of fun activities. Dance & Cultural events are held. Students get ample opportunities to showcase their other talents.

Students are provided to opt for loan facility in case they are not able to bear the fee. There are many banks who provide assistance regarding this. Punjab National Bank is one of the well known bank, which provided loan facility to student along with zero balance account opening. ATM facility is kept in college where Cash is available 24/7.

Campus Life is awesome. I still miss the time spent during my course. College is fair with gender diversity. With respect to extracurricular , Sports completions are held time to time between different colleges. Robotics & Programmatic events are also held once a year, where students from other esteemed colleges/universities participates like from IIT, AKGEC, KIET etc.

Hostel of MIET is key attraction of it. There are 3 main hostels inside college territory, where thousands of students & faculty stay. Rooms are generally shared by 2-3 students. For Faculties, separate houses are provided to stay with family.

This course is 4 years comprehensive Program. Total 8 semesters program, in which each semester contains 5/6 subjects. Each semester comprises of 3 sessional exams of respective semester courses. Best of Two sessional marks are counted & averaged out for reaching internal marks of each subject.

Faculties of MIET are one of the best talents of UPTU Faculty group. They train the students based on individual's strength & learning speed. All teachers are either having Masters Degree Or PHD in concerned subject. They help to understand the topic in depth in Lab sessions.
