I was not given any entrance exam. I was taken direct admission. All the aspiring applicants to be graduate from a recognised university.
Course Curriculum Overview
The core objective of the MCA programme is to prepare the students for productive career in software industry and academia by providing an outstanding environment of teaching and research in the core and emerging areas of the discipline. It prepares the students to obtain the positions as System Analysts, Systems Designers, Programmers and IT Managers in any field related to information technology.
Internships Opportunities
At the end of the first year of their programme, all students are supposed to take up a two-month internship assignment (summer & winter training) with an organisation. This is a compulsory component of the curriculum for the completion of the programme, and is designed to provide exposure to the working of organisations, as well as a chance to apply the learning at HIMT in solving real-world business problems.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Course fee: Rs. 4,45,000/- for 2 years. You are required to make the payment towards your course fee for the above-mentioned program as follows, Sony India have tapped the HIMT talent. Unlike the Summer & Winter Internship, these "live projects" can be taken up by students at any point in time.
Exam Structure
In addition to the Summer Internship program, several organizations such as Market Insight, Prognosys, Standard Charted Bank & American Express, Sony India have tapped the HIMT talent.
