Course Curriculum Overview
Technology-based courses in ABES-EC is quite good as it's not only about engineering, it's about holistic development which ensures you a good career transformation. Faculty to student ratio is around 1:12 but faculties are well qualified and most of them are from NIT's, IIT's and have sound knowledge of the field. Teaching pattern and methodology is not decided by college different professor use different methodology but almost all are good and well designed. There are number of exams in ABES-EC; Four Class Test Exam and two Term Exams and all have divided weightage which have a direct effect on your final aggregate result and all of the ranges in the moderate zone, as it is totally based on lectures and syllabus, but it's not that easy to pass because there is no fixed pattern of Class Test exam, the professor can ask anything in any format from syllabus so sometime it's not easy to pass the exam.
Internships Opportunities
Internship opportunities are there but only a few companies recruit student as a paid intern. CS or IT companies offer around 10-15K monthly stipend. Most of the students search for internship by self and grab better than the campus offerings. Some students work on sponsored projects and hence they don't go for an internship.
Placement Experience
From 3rd Year students are eligible for Internship cum placement opportunity and they start to sit in campus placement although it works only for CS, IT and EC, From final year students are eligible for a full-time opportunity. Companies like Adobe, TCS, Wipro, Capgemini, VVDN, EY, Samsung Electronics, Ultratech come for placement and most of the offers are of IT companies like TCS, Wipro. Highest Package is around 22 lakhs from Adobe for developer and average is around 3 Lac p.a for associate level. Position offering in college is different for different companies and hence its varies from associate level to Executive level. Almost 80% of students get placed in the company placement season. During my placement season, I have 4 offers from different companies like Amazon, Ultratech etc from which selected my core domain company as I thought it will be good for my career and can help in my further studies too.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure is quite high in this college as compared to another nearby college because of its infrastructure and location, although its Cost/Benefit ratio is good. They hike fee every year by 10 percent. There are two scholarship scheme in college first is applicable on the mode of your admission if you are a JEE main rank holder or have 80+ percentage then you will get a good scholarship of around 20-50% as a fee waiving scheme, and second is UP Govt. scholarship on Annual income basis which is fixed by govt. for category wise. Internship opportunity in college is not so good only CS and IT students get internship offerings with stipend rest of the students to search themselves for internship although campus placement is good for CS, IT and EC and they got a very good and decent package from Top MNC's but its average for CE, ME and EE branch and only few companies with low packages comes to recruit.
Campus Life
Genero this is the only annual cultural fest of the college and it is really awesome. You will come to know that Genero is coming before three months of its date which is in October. Although there are no. of the fest which department organize on an individual level. The library is quite decent and has thousand of journals and books which you can check through E-Library service. Classroom gives a theatre-like experience and is fully air-conditioned. The college has a mind-blowing floodlight cricket stadium where you can play in free time and have also no. of the tournament which organizes time to time by students or college. The college has Volley Ball, Basketball and Football team and they participate in almost all inter-college competition and selection process to get in the team takes place in each semester. There are no of groups, clubs in the college and all of them are active and work in different sectors like Environment-Enviro Club, Sports, D-Club Drama, Music Pelicula-Art Club, NSS Club and all that.
Interview Experience
GD is not compulsory as its a filter process so when candidates are more then they conduct GD and give trending topics related to politics and Technology, Interview question are good and have a no. of questions related to Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics and few psychometric questions. Test Pattern is a simple 20 questions from each section of Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, English and Aptitude in a time limit of 120 minutes. Process of admission is quite simple if you are booking your seat through counselling of JEE Mains/UPSEEE then its will be as per government guidelines and if you are taking direct then you have to appear for the test and interview rounds then after combined merit result you will have to choose your branch and then document and fee submission takes place and finally, after one month it ends with an orientation program. There is no need to prepare for the exam if you are good in your academics you can easily crack the exam and interview too.
