Remarks
I chose the college because a friend recommended it to me. The faculty are good and considerate towards the students and the coaching is good but not too good. Bad aspects would be that they prioritize studying more, there is no overall development of sorts.
Course Curriculum Overview
I chose the course because of the variety of job opportunities. The faculty: student ratio is about 20:80.The faculty is well qualified. Some of them are quite good in terms of teaching and others are not upto the mark. The term exams are frequent and can be somewhat difficult.
Placement Experience
Students become eligible in the 7th semester and currently should be holding an average of 7.5 cgpa. The companies would be Capgemini, TCS, etc. Offers are less. Students getting placed are around 30-40%. My plans would be to do some additional courses and try to get placed on the campus itself.
Fees and Financial Aid
There's no fee hike policy as such, it will be the same every year. It costs me around 1,30,000 every year. I dont receive any scholarship as such as my father's a retired police officer but for someone who falls under the category of the scholarship u can easily get around 18000 per year. There are opportunities regarding a job but it isn't sufficient as per my knowledge.
Campus Life
Every yr in the even semester they organize a fest called vismay. It is usually conducted in the month of March or April. Other than that the number of cultural events or other such activities is very low. Availability of books is good but you have to try and get them at the earliest otherwise the students would have taken them already. Once a year there's a sports meet for name's sake. Groups and clubs aren't there at all and even if it's there the activities taking place are very low.
