College you are looking for

In this college, my overall experience is pretty much good. The infrastructure of this college is one of the best in Delhi. The campus area is hygienic and there is a big parking space. Teachers are friendly and helpful in every aspect other than teaching also. You will actually use what you learn in this college. This college will develop your love for learning. College comes under Indraprastha University which is very popular in Delhi. I am pursuing engineering(3rd year) from the Electrical and Electronics Engineering branch. College provides great placement opportunities to its students. The admission process is very much simple. You have to fill an online form on this website www.ipu.ac.in and give an entrance exam for the same. One of my senior friends suggested me this college and then I did my own research about this college. I have visited the college, gone through the campus area, canteen and classrooms and found it pretty much nice.

I choose this course as I have an interest in electrical engineering and appliances. It works at the forefront of practical technology, improving the devices that we use in our day to day life. Each class has about 60 students and there are about 3 sections for each branch. There are 4,5 branches in total and the number of teachers is a minimum of 150 in all the 5 blocks. Teachers are highly qualified and experienced. Teaching methods are somewhat nice. I would say it also depends on the students that they are cooperative or not. This is a 4-year course with 2 semesters each year. Every semester has two sessional exams 25 marks each and one term exam 75 marks. Exam pattern may vary due to covid-19 crises. Exams are not very much difficult to pass. Although, the overnight study may not work.

At the beginning of the fourth year, you will be eligible for campus placements. Adobe, Amazon, IBM, TCS, Wipro, etc are some of the companies which visited in the last few years. Around 150 Large and Medium companies visited here. The average package is around 3.5-4.5 lakhs per annum. The percentage of students getting placements vary on a very large scale from 70-90%. My plan is to get placed on-campus or off-campus and prepare for the GATE entrance exams side by side.

There is no fee hike in the past 3 years. In fact, fees may lessen from upcoming years due to the Covid-19 crises. The annual cost for Btech is around 1 lakh with no hidden charges. Training or internship will be paid separately if anyone wants to do that voluntarily. Book bank charges maybe there which is around Rs2000 for 4 years. For scholarship, there is a scholarship exam or you may submit an application regarding any kind of financial issues with the necessary documents and You may get 50% fees back in your account.

The annual fest used to happen in February named Anugoonj last year in the main campus of Indraprastha University. All necessary books are available in the library. Huge airy classrooms with cross aeration and natural light overlooking the garden. There are many kinds of societies in the college like dance and music society, coding society, sports society, writing society, etc.
