Course Curriculum Overview
The MBA International Business course curriculum is recently updated and is up to date with all the latest developments in the field. It explores the various domains of business such as finance, marketing from an international point of view. It also explores various aspects involved in world trade this is what got me to take up this course. The teacher faculty ratio is good as the batch strength is very low with just 75 students in the class. All the teachers are very well qualified. Unlike other B-schools, the college follows a semester system instead of a trimester system which makes difficulty level easier.
Internships Opportunities
Several companies offer internships on the campus but the majority are startups as we learn more while working in startups. Some companies that offered internships are- Oyo, Cargill, VIP, IBM, kora management, House, etc. The profiles ordered ranged from marketing, Management trainee, sales, research, finance, etc.
Placement Experience
There are both summer and final placements offered on the campus and we sit for summer placement in our first year and final placements in the final year. Nearly everyone gets placed from the campus. The average package offered is around 10.5 LPA and the profiles range from marketing, sales, finance, analytics, research, international business, consulting, etc. Some of the major companies visiting the campus are Citi Bank, ICICI Bank, HDFC bank, Oyo, Salesforce, IBM, Airtel, Tata Consultancy, Wipro, etc. I plan to be in the finance field after graduating.
Fees and Financial Aid
The major advantage of the course is that it is extremely affordable with just 17k fees annually. It is definitely the best value for money MBA institute in India.
Campus Life
The department is quite small and the infrastructure is very limited compared to other B-schools. The college has the Ratan Tata library which is one of the best in India and all major journals are available here. We have lots of student-run clubs, committees which you can be a part of such as sports cell, media cell, finance cell, etc.
Interview Experience
There is a GDPI round which consisted of a group discussion, personal interview, and an extempore. The group discussion had around 8 candidates and the topics were current topics like social media bane or boon, India's ease of doing business ranking, etc. The interview will be based on your profile and some subject related questions. The extempore also takes place during the interview and the topics were abstract.
