I took JEE Mains, I scored 136 in Mains and had a pretty decent board % of 94%. I wanted to do b.tech in computer science. I had no other choice but to go for this college.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is brilliant as it covers all the important aspects of what an engineer should be taught. The curriculum is made by our mentor institute DAIICT. If you don't know what DAIICT is, please stop living under a cave. The faculty is also from DAIICT.
Internships Opportunities
It has only been one year since the placement process started. We claimed our internships at Atos India Pvt. Ltd. Also students are getting prestigious internships at IITs and IISc. Also as we have TCS as our partner. We are getting internship at DISQ to.
Placement Experience
It has only been one year since the placement process started. About 20/36 students in the 4th year batch has been placed with an average of about 3.5 lpa. The placement process is still going on and the figures will be updated. I myself am placed at TCS.
College Events
We have gaming events for Counter Strike and FIFA. Our sports fest is Ventura. We will be having our first cultural fest. Since our college is new there is scope for more. But for now we take pride in participating in the fests of other colleges
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fees is expensive. As our college is a PPP model. We have to pay more fees than any other Government college. 74000 rupees per semester seems very costly. We are also not getting the worth for money.
Fees and Financial Aid
Not yet. I am not aware of any loan policy. But some students have been provided. So they are able to make up about 3000 per semester. Not much though.
Campus Life
Gender ratio: 6:1 boys to girls. Most people are from South India or Rajasthan. But we have people from all parts of the country here. I am from Delhi. We indulge in all kinds of extracurricular activities one can think about. We manage our sports in DAIICT. There is a debate club going on on Sundays.
Hostel Facilities
Mess is being run entirely by the students from the past 2 years. We formally announce the tender. The mess fees is 15120 for a semester. It is affordable. The food is also OK. Better than the mess of other colleges i came across in Gujarat.
Exam Structure
The curriculum is made by our mentor institute DAIICT. If you don't know what DAIICT is, please stop living under a cave. The faculty is also from DAIICT. Education is not an issue. As most of the faculty is from DAIICT, the students are satisfied. The exams are conducted mostly by those guys only. Exams are difficult as well as eye openers.
Admission
I got this college in the spot round. I received a call from the Gandhinagar campus and I went there straight up. I was the last guy in the general category. The orientation was smooth. It was held in the secretariat. We were the first batch. So we were made many promises about the upcoming of the college. We were assured of a fun journey.
