It is one of the top 10 colleges for Masters's in Economics in India. The course curriculum is very good. The city is very much pleasant and liveable. Hostel facilities and fees are very affordable. Placements are nice, teachers are friendly.

Out of all the 4 courses, this one is the best. It is very relevant to real life and the placements are very much high for this course. All courses have an equal ratio of 40 students out of which the majority are females. This course is a mix of both theory and practice and it deals with real-life examples. The subjects are also very interesting. Teachers are well aware of all the subjects and classroom teaching is very much student involving. Teachers also take several activities to involve students and to make the subject more appealing and interesting. Field trips are also conducted sometime for better learning. Term and mid-term exams are very easy. Scoring an 8+ CGPA is not at all difficult. If one studies regularly and pays attention in class he/she can score 9+ CGPA too. There are 3 periodical exams of 20 marks each and out of which best 2 are considered. The final exam is of 60 marks. So a total of 100 marks per subject.

Placements are quite well. More than 70% of students get placed. students become eligible for placements from 3 sem onwards Top companies are JPMC, AXIS Bank, HSBC, EXL, Vodafone, EY, Citi bank, Fractal, Ken Research. The highest package offered is around 15 lakhs LPA and the minimum is around 6 lakhs LPA. Majority of students get placed from the FE course. I have also got placed in EXL this year. Placements are also happening even during the pandemic. Majority profiles are offered for data analysts or business analysts. Some other profiles like research analysts or risk analysts are also offered.

There is no fee hike in the course fee. However, the hostel fee may get a hike by 2000-4000 every year. An on-campus part-time job is also available for students of BPL and paying fees in instalment is also available for students as per request.

Gokhale has the best on-campus and hostel life. Hostel life is very chilled out. Every festival is celebrated in the hostel. There is a sports week also where all the sports matches are being played. There is a cultural club which takes care of all the cultural activities. The library of Gokhale is Asia's largest college library. Some specific journals are only available in the college library. Classrooms are well furnished and it is a WiFi accessibility campus. both the hostel and college campus is wifi connected. There are various clubs like placement cell, sports cell, cultural cell, consulting cell, analytics cell, dog committee, mess committee, trekk committee. Frequent trekk are conducted by trekk committee.

There are 4 hostels separately for boys and girls. 3 girls/room is the sharing for girls. Beds, chair, almirah, table with attached bathroom and washroom as there for girls per room. 24*7 water and electricity is there. The hostel is very chill. There are no such entry or exit timing rules. Warden and security guards are there 24*7 for help. There are 2 exit gates for the hostel campus. The hostel campus is a co-ed campus. The mess is located in the centre of the hostel campus. Mess food is very nice and also it has a variety of food like gulab jamun, shahi paneer, idli, dosa, omellete, etc. you will never miss your home food or will get bore. Mess food + accommodation is included in the fee. So it is actually cheaper than a PG added with lots of fun. people are very friendly and lively. The hostel is available for every student who wants to avail it. there is no special eligibility for a hostel. the hostel is just at 10 min walkable distance from the college.
