NIT raipur is a college of national importance. It is in the top colleges of chhatisgarh. The nirf ranking is also good. For taking admission in the college you will have to clear the JEE mains exams with good marks. NIT Raiour provides b. Tech in different streams like computer science,information technology, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, Metallurgical engineering, biotechnology, biomedical, chemical etc. I choose NIT raipur when i see the ration of that college in college dunia website. The campus of NIT Raipur is very good. The only thing i would say the college should improve is the hostel facilities. In NIT Raipur not every student is getting hostel rooms so they are living in p.g.s which is not good. The faculty is also good. There are a lot of clubs and commettes which is a very good thing,it gives a platform to the students to interact with seniors, batch mates, junior as well as faculties. The fests of all clubs are mind blowing.it gives intense pleasuretoall
Course Curriculum Overview
I was interested in metallurgy so i choose that stream. The faculty student ration is 1:20. faculties are well qualified and experienced. Exam are neither very hard nor very easy to. Pass. There are two class tast and one end sem exam in every semester.
Placement Experience
The placement starts from 7th semester that is the starting of 4th year. The are so many companies which visit every year like wipro, vedanta etc. The average pakage is near about 7 l.p.a. About 50 percent of students get placed every year. My plans after graduation is to do MBA.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees structure is very simple. The fees of students depends on the cast of the student and the annual income of the family. There are so many scholarships you can apply like NATIONAL SCHOOLARSHIP PORTAL, CHHATTISGARH SCHOOLARSHIP PORTAL, scholarships provided by TATA etc
Campus Life
The campus live of NIT Raipur is mind blowing. Yiu can learn and enjoy at the same time. The annual fest "Eclectica" is very enjoyable. The tech fest "technocracy" is very good, so many fests are there. Library is very good you can find a lot of books of all stream. There is a big ground, a gym is also there.
