Entrance Preview
MP-PET(State Level Entrance Test), I opted an average score around 306/600 in PET. I preferred this college due its name and placement during the previous years. Training and Placement office of my college was quite a famous guy in MP.
Course Curriculum Overview
Course curriculum was really normal like any other college of MP. The structure is good too and all the syllabus is covered properly but college wants students to focus more on self study. Electives options are limited as per the availability of faculty or I'll say they are pretty much decided and You have to opt for those choices only.
Internships Opportunities
Not really they don't provide any internship which would also give you the stipend. Though they organise various training programs and workshops which could have been opted by students on certain amount of fee.
Placement Experience
In those years it was really good. Almost 90% students used to get the placements. All the big IT giants used come for placements eg. Cognizant, Wipro, L & T etc. Over the years placements has been reduced due to some changes in placement cell but still it is good enough.
Fees and Financial Aid
Scholarships are there but only for reserved category students for SC, ST and OBC. There are no performance based scholarships. OBC category only receives it if their parents income is below from a certain amount.
Exam Structure
Labs used to happen frequently and Exams pattern was as follows Start of Semesters, Unit tests, Mid semester Exams, Pre University Tests, Internal Viva Exams, External Viva and Practical Exams, Main University Exam. Overall It looks hectic but One could manage it with small amount of focus and determination.
Faculty
In terms of quality of the faculties it was a mixed experience I would say. Half of the faculties were quite senior and had vast experience but on the other hand they also had newly promoted faculties and without a doubt they were not good enough as compare to their superiors.
