Remarks
D G Vaishnav college is quite a big name comparing to other colleges, why because it is included in the top 10 colleges in Tamilnadu particularly for commerce departments. This college is good because I have many departments comparing to others. Admissions are also given at merit basis but at some point of the time, they give the first opportunity to their people's for an example if the college owner is Maheswari/Jain. Rest the teachers, Staffs, Circles, etc. are quite good. It doesn't even feels like that your from different place. Always feels like home
Course Curriculum Overview
I Chose this course because I was quite interested in the business field. And teachers helped me a lot because their qualifications were similar to there courses and quite familiar to my passion. The best thing is no comparison between one student to another all were equal. About exams once in 6 months every semester been held and with help of teachers we can clear our exams.
Placement Experience
Form 5 semester students we're eligible to campus placement. Companies which visited our colleges where E&Y, Axis bank, etc. I remember the average package was around rs.15000 - rs. 18000. And they a lot this package on the basis on their positions or because of there departments. 1% - 2% is the maximum placement percentage. My plan was to handle my business after getting my degree and I'm handling it.
Fees and Financial Aid
Every semester it cost up to 3000 per month because I was studying Morning at that college. As per the rumours people used to say that the morning departments are held by the government. And about some scholarship or job's I did not get anything, because I did not apply for any of this.
Campus Life
I don't remember any of the fests which we're conducted in our college because I was not much socialized with this kind of stuff. About the library, I once took some books for exam preparation and I guess everything is available in our college. Sports is one of my favourite things. I participated in many of the sports like Cricket, badminton, etc.
