Remarks
AKGEC is one of the highest-rated and reputed colleges of AKTU University. It ranks 2nd in private college after JSS. Also, the faculty here are experienced and highly trained. The college takes admission through two ways -one through the UPSEE merit and the other is the Management quota. Fees structure is 1,50,000 approx per year which can be paid in DD or cheque or in any online mode transfer. AKGEC has a unique infrastructure, different from other colleges of the AKTU university. It has hostels for both girls and boys. The closing time for the first-year girls' hostel is 5:00 PM and for the boy's hostel is approx 8 to 9 PM. The campus is full of greenery. Classrooms are called LT(Lecture Theatres). It has a football ground, a cricket ground, and a basketball court. The hostel comprises of a gym and a mess. Appropriate labs are there for the practical works. AKGEC has two libraries -the large(main) one and the smaller one. The can here provides awesome food. There are 2 canteens.
Course Curriculum Overview
AKGEC is the 2nd best private college after JSS Noida, so it is a good option. It provides BTECH in almost every stream including CSE, IT, ECE, CS&IT, ECE, EN, MECHANICAL, CIVIL. The faculty here are highly experienced and trained with full of teaching abilities. Maximum faculty has at least done PhD in their stream. the faculty-student ratio is approx 1:70. exams are of medium difficulty and there are 2 sessional test and one pre-university test before the University/Semester examination. Also, there is a class test on alternate Saturday of the month.
Internships Opportunities
College provides on campus to students to its students through various labs setup by the management in the name of AKGEC skills in various fields of 3D printing, robotics and many other. Some of the internship providers are AKGEC KUKA LAbs, AKGEC IDEA LAB and many other
Placement Experience
From the 3rd year, students become eligible for the placements. Many big companies like Samsung, Amazon, Deloitte, DLT Labs visit the college for recruiting students during the campus placement. An overall percentage of 75 is recommended for the students to be eligible for sitting in any company recruitment process. The college has a decent package of around 3-4 LPA for CSE/IT/ECE students rest branch placement is very poor.
Fees and Financial Aid
The approx fee structure for the first year is Rs 150000 which keeps decreasing in the upcoming years and becomes somewhat approx to 1 25 000 Rupees. Also, there is no sudden hike in the fees after every year. Financially week students, having an annual income less than Rs 200000 can apply for the scholarship provided by the UP government through college for which the college helps the students in opening their bank accounts. Also, several financial aid/scholarship is provided to the topper students based on some criteria. on 100 percent, the students also get some amount of money through the college.
Campus Life
The life in AKGEC green campus is good and healthy full of pure air. There is the fresher's party organized for the first year by the seniors of the college, up at 10 pm at the night. there are no cultural fests in this college. Its the only drawback of AKGEC but instead there are a lot of technical fests, hackathons, quizzes organised. Saksham is the official sports events. there are various societies and groups in the college for which anyone can apply. Some of them are namely horizon,taal, Software Incubator, and many others
