Didnt take any entrance exam. Direct entry. I took up this college because it was close to my house. And travelling was not a trouble.
Course Curriculum Overview
College changed its course after I left. CMRIMS invested a lot in research, probably because the college turned into a university by the time I left. Otherwise, the curriculum is very basic. Teachers are friendly. Special preferences for all those who are malayalis.
Internships Opportunities
No they did not provide for my course. I think they had for business related courses. MBA, BBA and BBM courses had internships i think.
Placement Experience
Job opportunities are alright. Lot of good companies come, BUT they will come for basic jobs like call centres and technical jobs. Jobs come with basic salary as well. Lets say wipro, they came for vase and vista. 5 years course with bits pillani MS certificate. But by the end of 4 years, salary would be just 21k.
Exam Structure
We have semesters. Labs were during college hours. Did not have to stay back, unless you are a nerd and prove a point to yourself. But that was never a necessity. It was pretty chilled out.
Admission
I had to just fill up the form and rest was taken care, obviously I had to pay the fees and admission fees. That's about it. Forms are available from April and the admission continues till July to August of every year. I got a reference to this college through my friend.
