Remarks
Teachers are still the same in teaching. You get plenty of workshops to attend which will help you in a job interview and further in life. The admission process was pretty simple. I got my admission through cap round. They considered my MHCET score. I considered two aspects of college selection- 1) Campus and job opportunities, 2) travelling. Since I didn't know any senior or anyone elder than me who was studying engineering, I referred to various websites. And I mostly visited collegedunia.com as it had very relevant and factual information about the college.
Course Curriculum Overview
I had decided either Computer Science or Electronics as my priority streams. As I was completed focused on what I had to do. Its was the only college which had the electronics department. So I chose it. The faculty: student ratio is 1:30 which is pretty good. The classroom here is huge. The facilities here are highly educated (PhD and MTech). We have projectors here as a method of advance teaching. Term exams are very frequent. It is kinda tough but you are provided with question bank to refer.
Placement Experience
Training and placement cell prepares the students for placement interviews through various seminars and mock tests. Placement opportunities are good and various companies come every year. Alumni workshops are conducted where students meet alumni belonging to different fields give a talk on various insightful topics regarding the field of engineering.
Fees and Financial Aid
It costs me around 78,000/- as I fall in ebc category. But if your annual income is more than 8 lakhs, your fee will be 1,45000. They co-operate very well when it comes to fees. Fees depend on what category you fall in but this year's fees has been increased as the university now is autonomous.
Campus Life
An impressive sports ground with various sports essentials. Library and laboratories are well equipped with all necessary equipment. The library is huge and various books academic books are available to the students. Events on the campus are always cheerful and pleasant. They are well organised by the committees and being a part of committees gives the students the best exposure to management and leadership skills. Everyone is encouraged to participate.
