Remarks

Umeschandra college is very nearest to Kolkata town, metro station & bus stops are near about 10 minutes. The professors of this college are very gentle & friendly. The teacher helps & guides in every project given by Calcutta University. Umeschandra student union members are so helpful, they always ready to help.

Course Curriculum Overview

Accounting & finance subject I loved it from Hs, so I pursued from this college. Teacher gives their 100% effort. Exams are taken timely as per Calcutta University. There are almost 12 sections for each semester & in this college, there are more than 2000 students each semester.

Class Size: 400Course Fees: INR 5300 per year

Placement Experience

In semester 6 students can get a placement as per their educational qualification. Big companies like TCS, HCL, Wipro, etc. Visits for placement. Salary package depends on qualification & about the experience of work.

Fees and Financial Aid

This is a government-aided college so there are no high fees like private colleges so in each semester there hardly cost is 4k- 5k. It is much cheaper than any other college. TCS, HCL, TATA, etc. Big companies take conduct for placement.

Campus Life

Umang is the annual fest of this college & conduct in the month of june_july. There is a big library with more than 1000 books & with good facilities available for reading. There is a big club room where all sports activities can take.

St Joseph's college a Decent one

Placement Experience:

Placements were not there earlier. But our batch was the first one to get placement at St Joseph's College Darjeeling. To be honest It is not a college you should target if you are looking for placement. The companies were too small . The roles are way to entry level . Highest placement was around 40000 per month but it was an inside sales role so many opt out. There is not official data about placement . My plan was to look for off campus jobs.

Placement Experience:

from 3rd semester, students become eligible for campus placement. Various Jewelleries company has visited, and even companies like Google, Tata and many has visited. As per i know the highest package were in lacs per month. The college provides 100% placement. After getting the degree, I'll do masters in business administration.

I did chose this course to learn more about accounting and finance and the cirriculum prepares you perfectly for the real world. SXC is invaluable to me!

Placement Experience:

Highest package of our program has been 20 lakhs. Companies like EY, DeShaw, ITC, CESC and many others which are multi billion dollar groups were the ones which are invited for placements. Batch size including morning and evening is of 400 students and nearly 200 gets placements in dream companies. Roles of business analyst and accounting are provided and SAP is taught in our college so those who know that gets job easily.
