The college has a great online presence about the activities that are conducted throughout the year. The placement statistics are really great when it comes to the 3rd Generation IIMs. The brand that visits the campus is really great. Before joining the campus I also researched about the faculty and the guest lecture conducted by the college. The list of faculty visiting the campus also intrigued my interest towards joining this college.
Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum is aptly aligned with the current industry trends. The In-house faculty has vast exposure to the subject and are easily reachable in case you have a query regarding any of the subjects. Along with the inhouse faculties, the campus has a great panel of visiting faculties from organisations like RBI, KPMG, EY, PwC etc. The exams are on the proctored mode.
Internships Opportunities
The college has a record of providing 100% on-campus placement for a summer internship. Companies such as ICICI Lombard, Cipla, L&T, EY, Vguard are some of our prominent recruiters for the internship program.
Placement Experience
The college has a stellar placement record with an average package of 12.61 lacs for the final and close 70k average for the internship programs. IIM Amritsar has a record of 100% placement for each year. Companies such as KPMG, EY, Deloitte, L&T, Xiaomi, Cipla, ICICI Lombard etc are some of our regular recruiters.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees charged by the college are lowest amongst the 3rd generation IIMs. The ROI is great as compared others IIMs. There are quite a good number of scholarship and financial assistance programs for those who are in need of it. Plus the internship and live projects offered by the campus are paid internships which further adds to the student's financial help.
Campus Life
The campus life is amazing. The campus is a student-driven campus where the majority of the task is done by the students on the campus be it placements, accommodation or student activities. We have a complete year filled with sports, cultural and business events. Finally, we have our annual event named Aarunya where we invite b-schools from all around India to participate in it.
Hostel Facilities
Presently our temporary hostel is located in Blessing City which is near the airport. The ambience around the campus is overwhelming. Apart from the comfortable stay, we have a 7-day food menu which covers dishes from the various region as we have students from different regions and location.
Interview Experience
The final rounds are divided into two categories one being the WAT (written ability test) followed by the PI (Personal Interview). The topics are mostly related to the current trends and the interview revolves around the internship/work-ex obtained by the candidates.
