Remarks
My conclusion is that overall college is good there is good faculties, good syllabus but there should be some changes required like exam pattern, placement process etc the management is also good but some time they take wrong decision.
Entrance Preview
I gave JEE entrance exam and obtained 84 marks. My aim was to take admission in SVNIT, but my JEE marks were less.
Course Curriculum Overview
In our college, the syllabus is mainly focus on practical knowledge rather than theory. The syllabus is designed good. Syllabus cover all topic related to civil engineering. But latest advance technology is not covered in syllabus, there is so long process to revise syllabus.
Internships Opportunities
No but i would like to suggest my college to provide internship. But we can asked our college than they can arrange training for few days. I had taken training two times in Surat Municipal Corporation (SMC) at bridge constructing site.
Placement Experience
Very few companies are come in our college for placement. I don't have any idea that how many students were placed and how much did they offer.I would like to suggest my college to call more companies for more placement.
College Events
My college is very good for celebrating the days whether is is technical or cultural. They organize such type of fest on very large scale, They do advertising of events to bring more participants. Lots of students are participate in each event. Coordinators are selected for manage event and they do their job good.
Fee Structure And Facilities
When i was admiited, the fee was 72,500 /- per year, but now they have increased fees for new students fee structure per semester tuition fee - 32000, University fee - 35250, Exam fee -1000.
Fees and Financial Aid
Yes my college give scholarship to ranker student we have to filled form and give interview than management decided the student list for giving scholarship.
Campus Life
Campus infrastructure is very good the gender ratio is i think 70:30 (male : female) as the the engineering college the lab is also good with all equipment needed there is no any tolerance with regards to gender, ethnicity, religion, etc. There is anti-ragging committee for regulating this things the college organizes more and more workshop to deliver practical knowledge to students.
Hostel Facilities
I don't have any about hostel because i am going college by bus but i have heard from my friends who have living in hostel that room is good, rent is little-bit more the mess food quality is totally worst.
Alumni/Alumna
Senior students of our college are helpful they always teach us from their experience they provide study material also.
Exam Structure
The exam structure is little-bit tough first they take unit test after one month of starting college than mid semester exam and than final exam. I think there should be only two exam in one semester.
Faculty
The faculty teaching us are very talented some faculties have field experience also, they give field knowledge also.
