A lot of my friends and family members recommended this college. It was really a fantastic experience when I first visited the College. Amazing faculty are there to ensure you the best education. The College environment is extremely pleasant and soothing to the eyes and the heart. The Admission process is a very simple one, you just need to fill the online application and upload the required documents ( like Aadhaar card, Transfer Certificate, 10th and 12th Mark sheets, Photo, etc). I mainly used the Collegedunia website to learn about the college. The College website (www.bhc.edu.in) is itself a treasure trove of valid information about the College.

I choose the B.Com course because I earlier had opted to pursue the commerce stream in my higher secondary studies. Approximately the faculty: Student ratio is 1:40. The faculty is extremely well qualified to lecture and guide the students. The teaching methods are also excellent. Each Classroom has an LED projector which the faculty use as an extra means for teaching the students. All the exams were conducted timely according to the university guidelines and instructions. The exams were indeed difficult to pass if you haven't prepared at all. But an average preparation is enough to get through the exams smoothly.

The College offers many opportunities for the students to enrol for internships in various companies. The college has a separate division called the 'Training and placement division' to guide the students to pursue their desired career.

Comparing to other good options, the fees structure in Bishop Heber College is quite low. The difference between the fees required from the aided section and the self-financed section ranges from Rs.1000 to Rs.3000. Specifically for the General B.Com degree, it will cost around Rs.14000 to Rs.15000 per semester. Many scholarships are available for eligible students and can easily be acquired through a simple process. There are many various fests and functions conducted by various departments, clubs and other organizations in the college These functions are conducted at different times throughout the academic year. The College also has an outstanding library with numerous books and journals on various subjects. The library also is spacious and comfortable. The College also has a digital library facility. The Classrooms are well-maintained and are surely comfortable. Each classroom has a blackboard and also a LED projector. Each floor consists of every college building has 3 or more water purifiers which supply fresh drinking water. There are also separate boys and girls washrooms, which are cleaned and maintained regularly. Elevator facilities are also available in the more recently built buildings. The College encourages the students to play the many available indoor and outdoor games. There are two massive playgrounds inside the college and the sports department is well-supporting to the students.

There are around 14 hostels run by the college and 12 of them are inside the college campus itself, separate for boys and girls. The rooms are spacious and comfortable to stay in. An international hostel is available for foreign students. Separate cots and cupboards are provided for each student. The washrooms inside the hostels are well maintained. The meal quality in the college mess is extraordinary. All kinds of various Indian dishes are served here. The registration for the hostel facility is also extremely simple. The hostel facility with food is affordable to a great extent. There are also numerous private hostels in the surroundings of the college.

I personally did not have any entrance exams or group discussions as I was applying for an undergraduate(UG) course but my sister had to write an entrance exam to be selected for admission for a post-graduate(PG) course. I think there will be Group discussions and Interview for professional courses like MBA, etc.
