My life at GLA

I always wanted to go to a college where I can be highlighted as an individual. I knew that GLA is going to be the best place as I wanted to explore myself. I took admission in GLA in the year 2016 and these three years were the best days of my life. The process of getting admission at GLA is easy. You just need to clear the entrance test GLAET. It's an easy test, all you require is the basic knowledge of the subjects.

I pursued B.Com Hons from GLA University as I always had an interest in management subjects. B.Com from GLA University provided me with ample opportunities to grow. I have done various stage performances which helped me in enhancing my overall personality. Faculties at GLA are experienced in their respective fields. Almost every month, exams are conducted which again helped the students to study regularly.

After completion of the second year, we had to do an internship for about 45 days. GLA University has tie-ups with various companies. There were about 30-40 options of companies available for us. I've also completed my internship in Gurgaon based company with a stipend of 18k per month.

Placements are amazing at GLA University. The training and development department of this university works so hard to make the students confident so that they can easily clear the interviews. I was also placed in FIS Global located in Gurgaon. Right now I'm earning 40k per month.

Since I've completed B.Com Hons. The fees for this course is 85,000 for the first year as of now. For the second year, it's 87,000 and for the third year, it's 89,000. The investment is worthy as you will get amazing placement in return. I was placed in BYJU'S at the package of 10 LPA. Talking about the scholarship then I got rupees 5,000 of scholarship as I was the second topper of the batch.

Since I was from the management department therefore I was so enthusiastic for the fest conducted in IBM Department. The annual fest of this department was jhoom and I participated in every year. GLA doesn't only focus upon the academics but also give equal importance to the extra curriculum. I am not having stage fright now and can easily express my views in front of a huge number of audience. The classroom is also well furnished with air conditioning facilities and Smart boards.

There was an entrance test known as GLAET. The test was not that difficult. It just requires the basic knowledge of 11th and 12th standards. It's an online test that includes negative marking too. Career assistance is also provided.
