Good college for UG courses

I have got admission into this college through the counselling process after writing the EAMCET entrance exam. As soon as I have written my exam the result came within 15 days and counselling process started I have got 37k rank and I opted for various colleges where Deccan was my first priority and I opted for IT seat and I got into Deccan college. The reason is that the education system is very good, faculty explanation is good various facilities are available and near to my house. The teaching field teaches in a very good manner where everything gets clear and the labs are equipped with sophisticated machines and well maintained. The parking area is good and various sports are organised. The bad aspect is that the college doesn't conduct any cultural events due to the party office of MIM and the building is a little bit old. But overall college is good with spacious classrooms and good facilities.

The reason I opted for IT is I was always interested in technology and software and my dream was to become a software engineer. And moreover, the Scope of technology development in future has various job scope. Total 60 seats were there for IT field and almost all the seat were equipped. The faculties were all professionals professors from Osmania University itself and having good teaching experience in their respective field. The faculties are polite and respectful and help the students in every aspect. In one semester they were 2 internals, lab internal and external and the main exam (External). All the exams were conducted according to the convinces of the students and there is enough gap between each exam and enough time will be provided for preparation. It's not much difficult to pass the exam if we study every day what we are taught daily. Overall the exams are not too hard to crack.

Internshala is the website which offers various internships for the students and the campaign is run in the college premises regarding internships provided by the Internshala. The internships start in 2000 and can go up to 50k based on your work. So every student can do internships according to their interest.

From the 6th semester which is 3rd year of engineering, the placement starts for all the students. The test is conducted by the companies and students who qualify the tests will be eligible to sit in an interview for placements and based on your marks, skills and interview you Will be selected. Companies like Wipro, Mahindra, infotech, Tech Mahindra etc visits every year in college for placements. The highest package was 2L in the IT field which was offered. The students above 75% will be eligible for getting placements. After getting a degree my aim is to find a good job and try to complete my MTech.

As it is minority college the fees will be reimbursed by the government if we get a good rank and seat in the college. It is central and state scholarship which students can apply on NSP and Epass. And the actual fees is 70000+ depending upon the course. The placement starts from the 3rd year itself many companies visit the college and hire students who are good in their field. Companies like Wipro, Mahindra etc visit the college for hearing students.

As said earlier college doesn't conduct any cultural events due to the party office of MIM. Any event can be organised but outside the college. The college holds the huge library where books of every topic are available the students can read books inside the library and can borrow with free of cost. No money has to be paid for borrowing books with library cards you can get books. Sports or extracurricular activities are organised by the students but not in college. They are various groups at Instagram, Facebook etc run by students by Deccan College.

As the admission is through EMACET counselling process there is no such interview questions or group discussion. You will get admission bases on your marks. In order to get admission, you need to get good rank and marks in the EMACET and should apply for counselling.
