My college experience

The college has a good reputation, there are a good faculty and a good placement record. The college has the latest infrastructure and teaching pedagogies. The gender balance is quite good. It is located in the heart of the city and is easily accessible by metro.

The faculty is experienced and has good credentials. The teachers use different methods to explain concepts clearly. Faculty:student ratio is good at 1:60. The college conducts exams in trimesters. There are mid-term and end-term exams and different assignments to gauge students' performance.

Many companies such as Philips, HUL, Asian Paints, Deloitte, KPMG, Mahindra, etc go to campus for offering summer internships for profiles such as Sales, Market Research, Human Resources, Financial analysts, etc.

The college supports the students in securing internships in first year and jobs in the second year. The placement process is on almost the entire time. Majority of the students get placed from campus. Several good companies such as Deloitte, Asian Paints, Mahindra, etc visit campus almost every year.

The fee was around 15L at my time. There are scholarships for exceptional students coming from humble backgrounds. you need to pay extra for accommodations because the college does not provide hostel facility. College assists in getting an internship and a job.

Social life is great at FORE. The annual fest is held in November. Several competitions are held throughout the year. The library has a wide selection of books to offer. There are several committees and groups which offer a holistic experience to the students.

There are a quiz and group discussion as a criterion for admission in the PGDM programs. The quiz is mostly on general knowledge topics. I prepared for the quiz by reading newspapers. That helped me in preparing for group discussions as well.
