Remarks
Good aspects: 1)college is good as far as infrastructure is confirmed separate boys and girls hostels, wifi enabled campus, multipurpose ground, common room, library, cafe 2)all departments and hospital is sanitized 3)good interactive teachers who don't hesitate to share their experiences with us 4)PPT enabled platforms which makes us easier to grasp the concepts. 5)our college also arranges celebrity night Bad aspects: 1)this college organizes too many extracurricular activities which hamper the studies of students especially in 1st year which is the basic of dentistry 2) 0% chances of placements and what can you expect from a private college? You are the sailor of your own boat you have to equally study and look for vacancies to earn a living. While most of them opt for Masters or open their own clinic 3)Not worth giving 20lac because this college doesn't utilize them on maintenance as the preclinical labs are in bad conditions because the instrument is not working properly.
Course Curriculum Overview
1)To serve humanity was the only reason I chose this course whether medical/dental 2)there are 2 teachers for each medical subject like Anatomy, physio, biochem, Microbio, pharmaco, pathology and honestly this college is now lacking experienced teachers because most of them are resigning 3)all the faculties are graduated from good government colleges and not all but some of them have good experience of teaching 4)internal exams are of 3hrs like University exams only it is easy to pass if you study well and frequently interact with faculties to clear doubts and establish a good relationship with them.
Internships Opportunities
The stipend is very low around 2300 where it should be minimum 5000 but I don't know about other colleges. Teachers /doctors who are in charge of the department also offer complicated cases to handle which is a good thing as far as experience is concerned.
Placement Experience
From 5th year the students are ready for becoming a full-fledged doctor, Our college promises no placements, You are the owner of your own boat, If you know about day to day vacancies you can also apply for JR ship in any government hospital provided if you are lucky otherwise you can work in a private clinic or start your own clinic while most of the students opt for Masters. Talking about me My plan is to do masters in oral surgery.
Fees and Financial Aid
The annual fee is 3.24 lac including 50k security money which is refundable after completion of the course but the total fee is 15lac without hostel and with the hostel, it'll cost you 20 lacs. Plus separate charges for books which you have to buy yourself except for 1st year because they provide books and other materials to you. Talking about internship the college forces to do an internship and if you're planning to do externship then you'll have to pay 1lac extra to college. And interns in our college get stipend around 2300rs which is way much lower than you think and I think it should minimum be around 5k. I don't know about other colleges stipends. But you can compare it yourself. Talking about patients prime clinics and opd are full of patients.
Campus Life
The annual fest which is conducted in our college is named "Occlusion", Occlusion 2k19 was a hit because I also took part in it in stand up comedy and Nukkad Natak, Occlusion is an extravaganza in which 5 or more colleges near vicinity take part, The most fantastic feature is the "celebrity night", In which singers and Bollywood stars also perform in our campus this time in 2k19 out college invited "Baadshah" and "Aastha Gill" to perform and it was a wonderful experience, In extracurricular activities, our college is best whether it comes to normal function like Freshers or grand occlusion.
