Remarks
Good ROI, Plus located in Nee Delhi where I can find internships and live projects to gain some experience since I was a fresher. Also, batch strength was small that meant good networking with all. I used FB groups, pagalguy while selecting this college.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is good but the faculty is not that good. Only two-three teachers are good rest of them just come and read through slides. Moreover the faculty force you to come to classes and for that, they have also assigned 10%. So if your attendance is even 75% you get 0 for attendance and it means 10% marks are gone. Faculty to student ratio is around 1:20. Considering both IB and HR and if we include Commerce courses too then it's very low. Would be around 1:80 something. Most of the teachers are below 35 age. No experience.
Internships Opportunities
The highest stipend offered was 40k per month by kora management and 25k by Oyo life last year. Many startups mainly in ed-tech hire students. About 50 percent was placed through college rest took internships to own their own through networking and LinkedIn.
Placement Experience
From third semester you are eligible for placements. About 70 percent get placed. Max. Placement offered last year was 14 lacs by relaxo ig. Avg Package is around 8-9 lacs. Many big companies hire students. Roles offered are not that great. Most of the companies offer sales roles.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fees are very low and I don't think it requires one to apply for a loan. That's the only good thing about this college. Also if you want to be a part of the student body than you have to pay around 20k more per year since its basically student driven program. The teacher does not assist in placement at all.
Campus Life
The infrastructure is so bad. No cushion to sit, No ACs, projectors don't work properly, no smart classes. But the social life at DSE is good you can make new friends as DSE I surrounded by big names like Hindu college, St. Stephens. The annual fest is not that great. Clubs are there but no good. Zero sport and extracurricular activities if you want them so bad that you do it on your own.
Interview Experience
I faced GD AND PI. The topic of GD is many times related to general awareness. Interview rotates mostly around your resume. They also give you one topic to speak on. Also, basic questions like why do you want to pursue an MBA and if you have any other offers from B schools
