Remarks

After a thorough check and guidance from many, I came to the conclusion that TAPMI has a very good curriculum and faculty which helps us get good placements. It also has a beautiful campus surrounded by greenery. Applied to the college with CAT score. After the shortlist they called us to a hotel for the admission process in the city of choice among the provided ones. Then GD, Team building activity, PI were conducted for everyone and process was smooth.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

I love Sales and Marketing. So did not want to waste a chance to directly join in this specialization after hearing that TAPMI is offering it. Marketing & sales faculty are very good here. They are experienced and very knowledgeable faculty. It's mostly online mode now, so have to check offline how the teaching will vary. Term exams usually happen once in two months. Small quizzes happen every month and assignments are given every day. This is a burden. Some subjects are difficult to pass as some of the students don't have that particular background such as accounting.

Internships Opportunities

3

There were many companies that visited campus for internship offer. Almost 100+ came for marketing roles. Sales and Marketing roles were the hotcakes during this pandemic. Roles like digital marketing, sales, strategy, business development intern etc were offered.

Placement Experience

2.5

From 4th semester students can sit for placement. There many major companies like JP Morgan to ITC that come and offer a good package of up to 30 lakhs and small companies like Accenture provide 10 lakhs. Before the pandemic, the placement record has been 100%.

Fees and Financial Aid

They are charging 7.5 lakhs per annum now. Since it is online they are not charging any hostel fees. But there is no program fee reduction. There are 4 different scholarship schemes and are provided to most eligible candidates. Still yet to get a job.

Campus Life

0.5

Please don't ask. It's online now. No fests yet. Online Library is provided WebEx license has been taken. No sports or extracurricular activities. There are many groups, almost 20 clubs and committees run by students.

Interview Experience

4.5

First-round GD: why India is not a manufacturing giant? This was the topic. Next team building activity: Based on team communication and time constraints. Next is Interview: Checks confidence and interest in course.

Placement Experience:

Placements in the college are good for marketing specialization. Compared to other specializations, from semester 2 itself, students become eligible for campus placements. Companies like Deloitte, KPMG, ICICI Bank, and HDFC Bank visit the campus. The highest package this year was 40 LPA, and the average package is around 6.5 LPA. The percentage of students getting placed is 70% for now. After getting the degree, selection in a good company is my plan.

Placement Experience:

The average package offered is moderate and there are limited opportunities for high paying roles compared to top tier colleges. Companies that visit the campus are mostly small to mid sized organizations. The placement cell is very supportive and conduct training sessions such as aptitude tests, mock interviews and soft skills development to prepare students for placements.

Placement Experience:

Placement in my college is decent, wiyh around 90% of students are getting placed. Students usually become eligible for placement in their final year and the college provides internships opportunities before that, which helps in gaining experience. Many companies visit to campus mainly from marketing and sales, along with some roles in HR and operations. The number of offer is good but option for finance and analytic are comparatively limited.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would like to rate the course 7 out of 10. Because as these is a distance learning many difficulties occur. I am doing a MBA in ksou after my graduation in b. Com. As ksou comes under UGT it is more helpful for the job seeker. As per my knowledge the faculty should conduct a more classes may be through online so that the working people can attend the classes from wherever they want. There are many distance learning courses in ksou academic platform but they are not handling in a accuracy. They take a lot of time to announce a results, even to conduct a exams they take a lot of time. The question paper are sometimes difficult and the question will be from out of syllabus which will be difficult to attend. Distance learning course is difficult to manage
