Remarks
Firstly it's in the heart of Delhi surrounded by the lush green environment and secondly was because of ROI & Decent placement after all this one of the main reason for pursuing many students. The College is good if we consider the fee also there are other departments as well, So the good part is, if you were working before pursuing MBA you can again enjoy the college life, the University of Delhi offers a completely different environment when compared to other colleges. One will learn a lot from other peers. The MBA course offered here is not that hectic so if one is looking to pursue some side course he/she can manage. This college is situated on the North campus so you'll see a lot of street food vendors and can't stop drooling over the food. The admission for MBA(IB) & MBA(HRD) in the month of April/May but the forms to pursue this course are out in December( CAT appearing year) I preferred this college because of ROI and I wanted to stay in Delhi I hope you guys found my Feedback helpful.
Course Curriculum Overview
The faculty to Student Ratio is not that great so if one student needs help with any project or paper he/she will have to be after that professor. I personally feel the faculty is not that great here if we compare it with other IIMs, I won't say professors are not qualified, they are but they are quite lazy and don't want to put effort (Government job Mindset). simply put exposure is not that great. To fill the gap one should participate in as many case studies, quizzes, and other extracurricular activities. The college doesn't have a ground inside campus So, many of the sports enthusiasts will be unhappy about it.
Placement Experience
The students are eligible for Final placement from the very first year itself if they are offered a PPO in the Internship/Live project otherwise they can sit for the placement from the 3rd semester. The companies like TATA, Infosys, Citibank, Relaxo visited our college and they are our past recruiters and they offer a decent CTC of 8-9LPA. I highly recommend maintaining a 60+ percentage in all the semesters because some companies keep eligibility criteria of a minimum of 60% only then you are eligible for sitting in that drive.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure is quite good which is only Rs15,000 approximately. One can also get a Scholarship, though he/she needs to get the additional information from the office department. (My friend got a scholarship of approximately Rs 20,000)
Campus Life
Being at the University of Delhi the campus life is great. There is n number of things one can do be it playing any sport outside the college, there so many cafes nearby, etc. There are Committees and clubs driven by students so to get in those committees/clubs one needs to clear the presentation and interview round.
Interview Experience
Before the admission process, I did face GD/PI. My topic for GD was "Social media a tool for spreading fake news"For PI they asked very simple questions from me Like Tell me something about yourself, Scenario-based questions, Questions from a subject I choose in front of them & Some general awareness questions. I'd recommend brush-up general things from your Cv and at least basic knowledge of your subject If you are fresher so when you face PI round you're less nervous and can easily speak and explain without any stuttering. I Joined the Career launcher GD/PI workshops for the Prep So when the results out do carry each and every document with their photocopies if you even miss a single Document and they ask for that particular document you'll be in problem and there is no print out shop nearby.
