Remarks
As I'm a local so I was searching for a good college within Gwalior itself. As it is government-funded college so I preferred getting myself admitted here. I got admission in MITS Gwalior through MP DTE Counselling in the CLC Round. In the first two rounds, I got Electrical and Electronics but in CLC Round I got CSE.
Course Curriculum Overview
I got admission here at MITS Gwalior during the Corona period and hence couldn't experience a lot about course curriculum but whatever we were taught till now was almost Same as we learnt in 12th (specifically for Electrical) and subject like Environmental science wasn't something I expected to a CSE student. Overall it is an average course with respect to the first year.
Placement Experience
Placements aren't as good as other colleges but ya they are like average. Package range between 2-10 LPA and placement ratio overall is said to be 75-80%. But the reality is students from chemical, the automobile gets placed neither in campus placement nor off-campus. About CSE and IT, placements are not promising but could be said to be okay.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure is absolutely not what a government-funded college should have. They are charging more than a private college, but not even saying of placements. The faculties only said that placement ratio isn't good at MITS. So you can not think it as a good investment as returns are not that promising. But ya in TFW round your fees can go as less as 85000 only for whole four years. So if you got a very good rank then go for it.
Campus Life
Again I'll be blaming Covid-19 For not able to explore campus and campus life although I got a very good idea about how it is going to be in upcoming years all thanks to virtual webinars and meetings in which we are explained about various events and clubs.
