Mechanical is an evergreen branch among all the branches. The 1'10 is faculty students ratio. All the faculty members are well qualified from top IITs, NITS, IISC etc. The mid is held in every 3 months. They are quite easy.

Yes, GLA University does provide Internship opportunities abroad. GLA University has done tie-up with California State University, San Bernardino (USA) last year. Last year the first batch had visited California State University with a group of 10 members(8-Students+ 2 Faculties) to attend Global Summer Program In Entrepreneurship for 11 days. I was one of the students who got the chance to study there. Apart from India, students and faculties from Columbia & South Korea have also visited to participate in that program. There were many things we learned there like: Working in Culturally diverse Teams from different nations. Learning about the culture of the USA as well as Culture of nations who also visit to attend that program. Western Style of teaching methodology which is quite different from India. Will be able to make a network of contacts.

The fee structure for BTech Mechanical is 178000+security 10000. GLA provides merit based scholarship. I got 25000 scholarship. As my percentage is 81%. GLA University also provides UP government scholarship for the Uttar Pradesh residents. GLA is also famous for its placement records.

GLA University has a big central library with 180000 books. The students can take the advantage of the library for their preparation of GATE, UPSC and any other government exams. There are many clubs runs for hostelers students like NINAD musical club NATRAJclub for dance etc.

GLA University is rank 11 in hostel infrastructure. It provides 1 seater @64000, 2 seaters @60000, 3 seaters @54000. The food quality is good as the mess are run with the coordination of students. Various clubs are there due to which students do not feel homesickness.it is the home away from home.
