Remarks
Chaitanya Bharathi Institute of Technology is considered the best college in this state for undergraduate degrees. College offers various courses. The teaching is good. The placements are impressive. The infrastructure is a little old but fine. The facilities are adequate. Labs are well equipped. Teachers are very qualified. Admission is through TS EAMCET.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is pretty much the same as the other universities in India. The faculty to student ratio is around 10:1. Mostly, assistant professors teach and quite a few of them hold doctorates. We recently had mid examinations and they were conducted online.
Internships Opportunities
I don't have much idea about this. But there are people in my college who cracked Microsoft internship in the second year and later got a PPO too. So opportunities are given. Many people take up an internship for a semester.
Placement Experience
The placements here are pretty good compared to many other engineering colleges here. About 60% of the students got placed. The lowest salary package offered is 4 LPA, and the highest salary package offered is about 14 LPA. JBMC, Infosys, etc., are recruiting companies. About 60% of the students got an internship from our course. HR and manager are top roles offered in our course. I haven't thought of my plans yet
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee is 1.4 lakh per year and is pretty reasonable. For people from economically weaker sections, there is complete fee reimbursement if the student gets a rank below 10000 in TS EAMCET. I did not get any job or financial assistance.
Campus Life
It's been going on online. We have it starting offline next week. There are 2 big annual fests coming up in March. Sudhee, the tech fest, and Shruthi, cultural fest. There are a lot of clubs which will give the student every opportunity to explore their interests and discover themselves. Sports facilities are very good. The library is also well stocked with a variety of books
