We can get admission at Gyan Ganga Jabalpur by two methods. Firstly through the MP DTE counselling. Secondly through direct admission. I selected this college because many of my school seniors have been part of it and also being a girl my parents wanted me to get a college within Jabalpur, my seniors gave a very good opinion about the college and so did the Collegedunia website did.
Course Curriculum Overview
In my personal opinion, I feel the course curriculum can be improved at Gyan Ganga Jabalpur. I feel it's very much up to mark from the placement point of view but not effective for competitive exams. I have completed B.Tech in Computer Science from Gyan Ganga and the Faculties of my branch were very very supportive towards the students. Teachers were best for students who were good and vice versa for the one's who weren't. They always taught us in a very interactive and innovative manner.
Placement Experience
Placements at Gyan Ganga Jabalpur are decent overall. If specifically said for CSE branch the placement ratio is 90% + but the packages are given are not full - filing expectations of aspirants. Average package has ranged between 3 - 4 LPA, which may vary from 2 LPA to 9 LPA. So overall placements at Gyan Ganga can be said to be ok. All the well-known companies come for campus placements but provide packages very low.
Fees and Financial Aid
My course cost's me around 1.5 LPA for academic fees only. Rest fees depend on your personal lifestyle, on the type of food you eat, on the type of hostel you opt for, Although Jabalpur is not too expensive with respect to stay or eat. I don’t think it’s value for money because the returns are not as good as academic fees charged.
Campus Life
College campus is not as you would dream of but it is good as compared to other Engineering private colleges in Jabalpur. The college organizes many events on their level and again I’ll say it is good all depends on the type of company you have in your group. I’ll also add that if take admission here does take part in all the events and clubs they will help you learn a lot of life – skills.
