Remarks
I choose this college because my parents wanted me to get college within Gwalior and would be great if it's a government college, and that's the main reason I got admission at MITS Gwalior due to its very good ranking in Madhya Pradesh and due to its locality. Admission is only through MP DTE.
Course Curriculum Overview
In my personal opinion, I feel the course curriculum can be improved for the first-year student. I feel it's very much outdated and irrelevant with respect to one’s branch and field of interest. I am pursuing B.Tech in Electrical Engineering and the Faculties of my branch are very supportive. And they do provide all the study material like PPT, recorded lectures (thanks to covid – 19 ), E-books and all other necessary stuff.
Placement Experience
Placements are claimed to be around 75% to 80% but I have heard from seniors that the lowest package can go up to 1.5 to 1 LPA. So ya you can't say it's giving good returns overall, but specifically for CSE and IT, placements are still better. Better, not Best.
Fees and Financial Aid
My course cost me Around 20,000 per year for academic fees only because I got admission in tuition fee waiver routine (TFW). Other than that hostel charges were also average (as told by my colleagues). I personally feel MITS Gwalior is not at all value money type college if you don’t get admission through TFW round.
Campus Life
I could not enjoy the campus life till now all due to covid-19 pandemic. Although there were many events organised by some limited clubs of college like Holistic Health Club organised SELP program for yoga and all.
