Two sides of my college.

College Management was not so good when we joined. But dung the final year, all management people were changed and it was working better than previous management. Even our juniors are quite happy than us with the college.

Managemnet quota: Though i took admission in management quota. The college authoroties did not charge donations for ISE branch.

Course struture is quite good except for the elective subjects like civics, EVS, Kannada kali. For each and every sem, you will have to study these subjects, one of these subjects/sem. All other engineering related courses are good. For students who is joining engg after diploma may face difficulties in mathematics.

The college authorities do not provide intership i would suggest that college should provide internship.

Generally, TCS is the only company as a mass recruiter. No other companies visit. In ouf batch only 28 students got placed. However, around 150-200 students got placed for batches before and after us. No core companies for ece, electrical, mech, or civil.

Many technical events happens on regular basis. We celebrated branch fest every year. Kannada rajyaotsava is also celebrated moreover we celebrated annual college fest. But i was quite surprised, independence day and republic day is not celebrated. Holidays are very less. Holi is not allowed, however we manage somehow to play holi.

Fee structure for local students of karnataka is very less. They need to pay an amount of around 38000 college fee per semester.But students from other states have to pay an amount of around 1,45,000 per semester. The college fee gradually decreases as you pass and enter the next semester. Hostel fee is quite cheap. Students optong for college hostel needs to pay an additional amont of around 40000 per year. Food is not good in hostel.

Though i have not availed any loans, i would like to mention the facilities provide by college. College provide scholarships for muslim students, sc, st, students. I am not aware of any loans provided by college but college accepts students who wants to study by availing educational loan from bank.

College campus is quite huge. Programs are arranged during branch fests and college fest. During fest workshops, cultural activities, sports are arranged. Students from different regions of India study here. Very less NRI students are found. Cold wars always run between North indian students and South Indian students.

The hostel fee is quite cheap. The students need to pay an amont of 40000 per year for food and room. The rooms will be either 3,4 sharing. Water and electricity is provided 24 hours. Bathrooms are having hot water facilities. Only indian poty are there. Wifi is not so good but it works.

College seniors are quite helpful they take formal introduction during joiningof college. They do not rag students violently. They always help juniors in every possible ways.

Exam structure is quite hectic. College is quite strict regarding attendance of student.Student should have attendance more than 85% for each and every subject. If students are having 80-85% attendance they are charged a fine of RS. 1500/ subject. If the attendance is less than 80%, they are not allowed for final exam. For any subject the exams are quite frequent, first you need to attend a small test of 30 marks, surprise test of 5 marks, assignment of 5 marks. Then you need to attend a mid term exam. Then again attend a small test of 30 marks, surprise test of 5 marks, assignment of 5 marks. Then final term exam.If you do not clear any exam. You will be given a chance to clear in summer semester.

Admission process is quite simple. They can come through AIEEE or CET Examination. Else they can opt for management quota. You need to rank within 30000 in AIEEE. College fee is less for kannadians/ local people. People from other states need to pay more. Once you are selected in college. You need to fill a form , attach your passport size photograph. And you need to pay some 3000 rs against a receipt. All your original documents will be taken by college. Once reviewed they will return at the end of third year.

There are faculties who have completed M.Tech, MCA even there are faculties, who have completed only B.Tech. We face particularities for non-regional students. Mathematics faculties are very good. In ISE most of the faculties are not so good.when doubts are questioned, they always delay it for next day.
