Never going to college.

Never experienced a bad experience in our college as we being part of the Professional as well as Academical Course the college was always supportive and made a point that the students also pursuing professional courses never felt inconvenience due to the college and i still admire that fact that they were always supportive with our class mentors, office boys to the principal.

This college has association with the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India where in they permit students pursuing Professional Exams to take leave through out the year and prepare for such exams. With my academics being strong, I had an option to join the college and only attend the practicals and exams sessions. There were no entrance exams conducted as we had opted for a Professional course (Chartered Accountancy) while doing our Academic Course (B. Com).

Pursuing Chartered Accountancy(CA) it is was very easy for me to deal with the curriculum as the curriculum of the 3rd year is the Basics of CA . Though compared the portion is very outdated and need continuous revisions and updation with relevant tax laws and guidelines issued by the Finance Minister.

No our college does not provide for internships. Though doing CA we have to do a mandatory Articleship which i have done for 3 Years for a Stipend of 3000 Rs a month, dealing with Tax Return Filing, Auditing Assurance. Accounting and compliance with other relevant acts.

I never attended the campus placements but then companies like amazon, genpact, sychrony financial have come offering 3.5 to 4 Lakhs per annum. Doing a CA course doesnt allow me to take part in such placements beacuse when the placements are conducted we are busy doing our internships (this is a compulsory internship to be done as a part of professional course for 3 years).

The major festivals celebrated in our college are christmas, farewell, sportsday and lot renowned person are from our college like (thirumal shetty suman (Cricketer) , udaykiran (Actor) , Ashish reddy (Cricketor), VVS Laxman (International Cricketer).

It is feasible for an average person but when compared to other colleges it a bit expensive but it compensates for the infrastructure it provides. I had to pay about 19000 each for 3 years where in other college charges about 10000 a year. This college is majorly into promoting sports activities with a massive ground in between the city of hyderabad so the fee structure doesn't feel burdensome or expensive.

The subsidy is granted to a section of people called the AIDED group in the college where in the fee is reduced to half for the same course. I am really not aware about the conditions to avail this loan as among the people i know, nobody really required the assistance and every body were from a family very well to do and on what basis the subsidy were granted is still a question in my mind as well.

The activities conducted in college were really good of great standards, our play ground is one of the biggest in the cities where in students are allowed to use it through out. The ground is very often rented by outsiders for events like dog shows, biking events (stunts & performances) and once Rann Vijay (Roadies & Splitsvilla Fame) was a part of it which are always entertaining and booster for students.

There are residential facilities in the college but i am not really aware about the food and facilities provided there is a separate block of dormitory for students who come from other city and never heard complains about the food or any other facilities. The college has all time drinking water and clean wash rooms and nice canteen which is an add on to the standard of college.

I have a senior who plays cricket and has always advised me to play cricket as well and appreciation of the physical training in our college has been tremendous.

Exam structure consists four main subjects and two languages or other subjects like history and environmental studies which are for 70 marks each with practicals (conducted one day in a year) of 30 marks. Practicals include : 10 Marks - Viva, 10 Marks - Records, 10 Marks - Assignments the exams were never a burden as the ambiance and the college has lot of comfort for students.

This college is not a very high end college for doing bachelors but then it is a very renowned college for Arts, the admission process is not so stringent. The process is just applying in with a form and the payment of fees is to be done, post that we are form of the class strength in the course we want to be in.

The faculty were not of very high standards to deal with students pursuing CA as CA being a very extensive course deals with daily updation of relevant laws and tax reforms which are not updated in the Bachelors course we are taught. The teachers are well equipped with knowledge to train regular students in the course.
