Remarks

The management should understand that its not a place where they can collect fees, and make the students sit for three years with poor teaching skills and give them a degree with no extRa curricular activities.

Entrance Preview

Got seat through merit the only reason i preferred this college because it was very close to my house.

Course Curriculum Overview

3

Personally and not a great college, Faculties for Tax and Tamil were good, remaining just read from the book including stats. The infrastructure was not that great, No Extra curricular activities. Just a place to spend 3 yrs to get a degree. P.S: it was Government aided when we studied, now its autonomous.

Internships Opportunities

It dint have a internship programme when we were studying so i guess i dont have any experience to share.

Placement Experience

1

Had a couple of good companies who came for campus but since i din apply i think its not fair on my part to comment on this. But they dint give any training for attending campus interviews like other colleges but like i said its autonomous now and was not when i studied.

College Events

0.5

Only Event they had was the college cultural. They had a very very small auditorium, so only few were allowed to attend the college cultural. 3 years we studied and trust me atleast 90% - 99% never attended the college cultural. Only the PG, the facualty and the Chief guest attended the events damn i wasted my 3yrs. good thing i had a great schooling life.

Fees and Financial Aid

The frees was not expensive and still yes, they had an good scholarship programs. and the money was refunded in due time with an simple procedure to apply for the scholarship.

Campus Life

0.5

Only our department had only Boys. Other departments were co-ed. They never encouraged for sports or any extracurricular activities. They had few debates happening though , but we were bot allowed to see, god knows who saw the debates. The only thing that was good was the yearly department match which only the players were allowed to see. The only thing i participated too. In toto Extra Curricular activities: NIL

Hostel Facilities

1

I never stayed in hostel, so i don think i can comment on the same. But my classmates would not good review am sure. They had a very small hostel.

Alumni/Alumna

I am 2007 pass-out and i haven't visited college till date. Now you know how our alumni is. I hope that the recent management is not bad ours and the students have more activities together.

Exam Structure

Model Exams was time pass for both the faculty and us 99% of them gave blank papers including me.They were never corrected, No internal marks good thing the university conducted the semesters, was good, strict and had decent sign boards to go to exam hall.

Faculty

1

Like i said above faculties for Tax and Tamil were good, remaining just read from the book including stats. Model Exams were a waste of time. Sadly You got to have your own studying skills. I never remember making the class interesting, P.S: I am merit student, i am just sad for my classmates who had tough time.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The specific aspect will be accounting that made me choose this couse. The curriculum made me to prepare for future accounting field works and knowledge around the field. The improvements that I suggest may is to add more relevent real life job experience in subject books itself. As per me who is one of a topper student in my college, The difficulty is moderate to me and timing of exams are more enough to fill all the questions.

Placement Experience:

In MCC there is placement but it's not 100% placement, only 10 to 20 from a class of 60 gets placed, so when it comes to placement it's upto to you and your skills. Normaly the placement enrollment starts at beginning of your 5th semester or end of your fourth semester, you can opt for placement or higher study. The highest package was from Standard Chartered & Deloitte it was 6 Lakhs CTC. Accenture, TCS and some well known companies will participate in placement drive. The average package will be Rs.3.5 Lakhs CTS. I'm planning to go for higher studies while doing a part time job after getting degree.
