Great college. Wonderful infrastructure. Ambitious atmosphere. Successful core values and mantras such as ~ Weschool, not and I but a We.. Promotes team work and leadership great mentors, Perfect location - Matunga.

CAT 82.23 % CET Maharashtra 97.67% my score in CET is what pushed me to pursue an MMS degree in Mumbai. Best colleges were SIMSR, Welingkars and Sydhnem. My marks landed me Welingkars and I fell in love with the Campus and College Infrastructure. It was the best option for me. MMS Marketing faculty is top notch at Welingkars.

Course is a little outdated due to the fact that it is Set by Mumbai University. But the great thing is, the college is Autonomous so the course is altered and improved upon by the professors. Some electives include International Marketing, Supply Chain Management, Export Documentation, Retail Marketing Etc.

Average stipend of around 5k pm for summer internships great opportunities for Marketing students.

Average package - 8 lakhs pa some companies - tcs, infosys, accenture, sony, zee tv , aditya birla , tata , GEP, l&t infotech etc. More placement opprtunities for HR , Marketing and Operations profiles less for Finance profiles. Marketing jobs usually provide higher salaries for students with work experience.

Social work events - blood donation camps, sanitation drives, Seminars for international faculty, Competitions, Promotions for movies and documentaries ( recently visited by sonam kapoor, kangana ranaut etc.

Feasible as compared to other mba colleges 2-3 lakhs pa mumbai university fee structure is followed the fee is higher for PGDM students at Welingkars PGDM students at Welingkars usually pay a fee of 7-8 lakhs pa their are student loans and scholarship options available reserved castes have lower fee structures fees are accepted as cheques or demand drafts.

Loans are available but i have not taken any, hence i am not aware of the scholarships and loan facilities in Welingkars.

In the 1st semester, Yoga is the 9th subject, and is taken for all students every week atleast two times. There is also an examination for Yoga.

Canteen food is superb. Affordable and healthy. PG and hostels are not readily available, 1st come 1st serve basis hostels and PGs are close to college, all in Matunga. Canteen provides both Veg Nd Non Veg option there is a special counter for chat items. Average lunch is usualy worth 100 rupees.

Alumini are very connected and helpful for placements and general guidance alumini event is held every year in October. The Alumini from each batch from every course is called for the event. Some alumini are requested to address the students by retelling their success stories, their valuable tips and industry expertise.

Semester end exams take place within the course of 10 days. The papers are of 60-40 marks breakage. The main theory paper consists of 60 marks. The paper is usualy 2 hours long. There are 8-9 subjects per semester. It is crucial to score to well over 5.5 cgpa to land a good job at the end of the year.

The in house faculty is alumini of Welingkars, some faculty is from renowned colleges like IIMs, JBIMS and SPJain. Visiting faculty are esteemed senior management level professors who have amazing work experiences throughout various industries. All profs are well educated post graduates, some even with international management experience. They are great mentors and never turn you away if you ask for help. They change the course material by updating it according to current standards, hence students have a better understanding of recent events. They encourage you to read the economic times.
