Bad remarks is some times local persons of banaras come and do misbehave in BHU.

I took GATE exam to select in M.Pharm of BHU. I scored 85.84 percentile. You can asked anybody about BHU it is the best college in india. As all know Varanasi is the ancient city of india hence i choose.

As i have written before BHU is the best university in india. i like nature very much and i believe that nature always nurture, thats why i choose Pharmacognosy and Phytochemistry as my option to do Post graduation. The Campus of Bhu is full of nature, all greenery is there in the campus, a well known Ayurveda department is there and the most is varanasi is full of ancient knowledge.

In the second year of our course we had to complete project work the stipend was given by MHRD india.

Mind blowing, The placement record of BHU is well known . a single student keep minimum three jobs letters in hand. well known companies of india and multinational companies are frequent placement givers in BHU. Companies like Coal india, Nalco, samsung, indian raile\way, reliace power etc. comes every year.

A big list of events was there that we celebrated in BHU, all festivals like Diwali, Holi, Janamshtmi etc all were celebrated. janamshtami i celebrated in BHU was my most memorable janamashtmi. we all friends danced for hours. At holi we all enjoyed a lot.

As Banaras Hindu University a govt. university so fee was very nominal. in my case for post graduation (M.Pharm ) it was just 9000 INR.per year per student. The hostel facilities was awsome and for that fee was just 400 INR per year per student. In this 9000 all facilities like sports etc. were included.

Scholarships were provided by govt. of india only and MHRD department of govt. india scholarrship by department are very few and were to be approved by HOD.

The campus life of BHU was unforgettable it was the most precious time i spent in BHU i campus was full of nature boys and gilrs both were there. girls hostels and boys hostels were adjacent to each other. girls population is less than the boys but there were not any biased behavior in BHU. Labs , sports facilities all were best in class.

Hostels were awesome, you can search google and see pics of hotels. hostels were two story and have 200 rooms on each floor, The mess was managed by students it self. i also run mess for more than 6 months the quality of food was no doubt best because mess was managed by students.

A good communication was there with alumni and students. a common email portal was given to all BHU students. time to time alumni meetings were organized in the campus to increase interaction between students and seniors.

As i have written earlier the professors were very friendly and cool in nature so the exams were not a headache for students but as all know exams are exams so no relaxation in marking. days were hectic during project works only but it was very enjoyable for me also as i like to do something new in my subject.

The faculties of BHU were very friendly. The Professors had resident quarters with in the campus. Professors were well qualified and master in their field. The nature of teaching was very good. As i have opted for Pharmacognosy so i got a chance to meet professors of other departments such as Ayurveda, Botany, Chemistry etc.
